Kante’s right to take pride in this. It’s not widely talked about, but he’s miles better with the ball at his feet now than when he arrived at Chelsea. Conte helped turn him into a complete midfielder & Sarri is reaping the benefits #cfc

"Maurizio Sarri is a manager that I like a lot. He did a fantastic job in Napoli and now he is doing a fantastic job at Chelsea" - Mauricio Pochettino

Sarri on injuries: "No big problems! As usual after the national teams, there are some little problems. Some have little injuries or are a little bit tired. Fortunately, we have no big problems. Kovacic is doing better after an ankle problem. Yesterday he did full training" #CFC

Sarri on #Kante2023: "N'Golo is not just an important player, he is a determinate player. I am pleased with the new contract, it is important for him. It is good news, I think." #CFC

Sarri on #Kante2023: "I know David Luiz says something about him 'he doesn't want to pay the bill in the restaurant'. So he has flaws like anybody but I think he is a great professional on and off the pitch." #CFC

Sarri on Kante as a player in his system: "He is important in the defensive phase. He is improving in the offensive movements. He needs to improve in the final 20-25 metres. He can score more." #CFC

Sarri on Hazard following Kante's renewal: "I don't know the evolution of his deal but I think that we can do it." #CFC

Sarri on Poch's Spurs: "I think he has done a very good job, they play very good football. They are very dangerous in the offensive phase, in short counter-attacks, they are a technical team, in the match they run a lot. From a physical point of view, they are a strong team" #CFC

Sarri on Tottenham winning the league: "I think that at the moment, in the PL, there is a team above all the others and that's Manchester City. Then there's Liverpool who will be in the top 4, for sure. Then there's 4-5 teams fighting for UCL positions." #CFC #THFC

Sarri on slow starts from Chelsea: "It is not a tactical problem. In the first 15 minutes in the last three matches, the opponents were more aggressive and determined than us. So it is not a tactical problem or physical problem." #CFC

Sarri on busy fixture list: "I think it was difficult from Sept to now also because we played every 3 days. We had 14-15-16 players with the NTs so it wasn't easy. Until January it will be difficult becuase we play every 3 days. Maybe our rotations will be different" #CFC

Sarri on avoiding injury for #CFC players so far:"I think we have to programme individual training. The problem is that their are some very important players that have to play 70-75 matches in a season. It is a big problem for teams like us that have 16 players in national teams"
