It's official. The Burundian Minister in charge of Security, Léonidas Ndaruzaniye, has declared that any person originating from the areas occupied by AFC-M23 in eastern DRC, or who has transited through these territories, will not be authorized to enter Burundian territory.
The measure also concerns, according to the minister, United Nations officials working in these areas.
He was speaking this Thursday during a meeting with police officers in Bujumbura, Burundi's economic capital.
