The Laws of the Game say that a player can be in offside position when “interfering with an opponent by preventing an opponent from playing or being able to play the ball by

2. challenging an opponent for the ball or (The first point of contact of the ‘play’ or ‘touch’ of the ball should be used) or
3. clearly attempting to play a ball which is close when this action impacts on an opponent or
4. making an obvious action which clearly impacts on the ability of an opponent to play the ball

Maneno yamesemwa mengi.

Rashford yuko mbele ya Akanji yaani akitolewa Rashford wa kwanza kuufikia mpira ni Akanji. Kama Akanji angekua mzito kuufikia basi Walker angegombea mpira na Bruno ila wamesema kwamba siku hizi imebadilika zamani ilikua 'Interference' siku hizi ni 'intereference by' which doesn't make sense considering Rashford alikua anaukimbiza mpira.

Utetezi mwingine wamesema kwamba kanuni zinasema 'Play to the whistle' na kwakua haikupigwa filimbi Akanji na Walker ilibidi wafanye clearance ambayo isingewezekana kwakua Rashford alikua anazuia mpira.
 

Rashford anakimbia na mpira, haugusi ila anamzuia Akanji asiucheze mpira( kind of blocking him) ili fernades aufikie mpira kirahisi
