Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang seems to have some kind of crisis - his performance is far from what we know he is capable of. Hopefully, it doesn't mean January exit for him because he still did take around 60% of Arsenal's shots.

Afadhali hata kwa hii sare maana kwa vitoto vile nilijua kichapo kinatuhusu ukizingatia majirani walikula kipindi hapo

Player ratings after a boring game at Goodison Park.
Lucas Torreira - 7.5
Torreira was excellent today, providing good defensive support and helping his teammates with his runs from deep positions. Lucas hardly put a foot wrong in midfield and created a few chances for Martinelli and Aubameyang. Overall his partnership with Granit Xhaka looked solid at Goodison Park.
Gabriel Martinelli - 6.5
The Brazilian certainly looks like a player who wants to fight for this team. Yeah, could've done better with a few shots but still was aggressive with and without the ball. Pleasing to watch, and we all know goals are definitely in there.
Bukayo Saka - 6.5
Playing out of his natural position Bukayo looked quite impressive. Was under pressure for a long stretch with a yellow, but still looked mature in defence: he won 4 tackles and made 5 ball recoveries.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - 5
Arsenal captain looked isolated, and his stats before half-time were shocking: only 9 touches in the first 45 minutes, 3 passes completed, 0 dribbles, 0 shots and 0 chances created. Aubameyang looked more active after the break, but still created nothing and was deservedly substituted.
Emile Smith-Rowe - 5.5
Actually not that bad from a 19-year-old on his Premier League debut, but he could've given his team a little bit more going forward. A talented player, who was unlucky with injuries recently, had a couple of good chances to provide his teammates with a nice final pass, but failed to deliver. Was full of energy and desire though.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles - 5.5
It's not a secret Ainsley doesn't fancy playing as a right-back, though he has to because of Bellerin's injury. But you'd expect a bit more from a guy who's playing in this kind of role for a very long time now. Was shaky in defence and not that active supporting Nelson on the wing.

“Mesut was injured but I would not have picked him for the squad because I want to make a stance that it's not what I accept from an Arsenal football player.
“That's my decision. I won't make the decisions again but that's what I think.”

The summer transfer window is strategical and the winter transfer window is tactical.
It means that there will be no big transfers for the Gunners in January.
But Edu and Arteta will sit together to analyze what they can do.
Arsenal head of football Raul Sanllehi doesn't think we are going to see any big moves from the Gunners in the upcoming transfer window.
"The strategic window by definition is the summer window that’s when you plan the season ahead.
"Last summer we did an incredible effort where we were very grateful to the support we got from our ownership. We went really one step further and made a real investment that increased our expectations for the season.
"The winter window is much more for tactical. We are going to get our conversations now between Mikel and Edu to see what things we can do.
"Again, the strategic window and the one Edu and his team are really working on is for the long-term and that’s the summer window."
So, it seems that, as always, in January any transfers are going to happen only if someone gets inconveniently injured or some other emergency situation

According to Calciomercato, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are all interested in signing Dries Mertens from Napoli for £8.5m in January. #AFC

New era start today

The new Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will have a full training session with the players today and he will also have the squad training on Christmas day, according to @EveningStandard. #AFC
