Anti-gay law tabled in Uganda

A new law on homosexuality currently on the table of Parliament, could see some people jailed for life, Daily Monitor has learnt.

Moved by Ndorwa East MP David Bahati, and seconded by Obua Benson Ogwal [Moroto], the Bill seeks to prohibit any form of sexual relations between same sex people, and also to strengthen the nations capacity to deal with emerging internal and external threats to a heterosexual family.
Some of the salient features in the Bill include having an extra territorial jurisdiction for a person who, while being a citizen of or permanently residing in Uganda, commits the offence under the law.

Aiding and abetting homosexuality, conspiracy to engage in the act, procuring homosexuality by threats and detention with intent to commit homosexuality is an offence under the law.
A person who keeps a house, or a place of any kind for purposes of homosexuality commits an offence and is liable on conviction to imprisonment for seven years, states the Bill.

Kusema kweli huu ni uchokozi dhidi ya dini ya watu. Swala ushoga halina dini, rangi au kabila. I think this being extra paranoid which borders on extreme irrationality!

ni bora kabisa hawa watu wapewe adhabu ya kutosha, watupwe jela milele. hapa tz pia, itabidi watu fulani wachunguzwe, hasa watu wa pwani wanaopenda sana kuwaingilia wake zao kinyume na maumbile, huu ni sawa tu na ushoga pia. hivyo huyo anayeleta udini, nafikiri alikuwa anatakiwa akumbushwe haya kuhusu maeneo mengi yaliyokithiri kwa uchafu huo hapa bongo, yaani Tanga na Zenji...na huko ndiko watu wa dini ya mwamedi ni wengi zaidi. sitaki kuendelea kusema, ila anatuchokoza uyo.

Tukumbuke kwamba swala hili la ushoga lilianza kumchukiza Mwenyezi Mungu kule Sodoma na Gomora enzi zile za Abraham na mpwa wake Lutu. Mhh mbona sio vizuri, maana sio gay wote ni wakujitakia, kuna wengine wamezaliwa nje mwanamme ndani wana mfuko wa uzazi kama wanawake, au wengine wanawake lkn, mwili una produce hormone za kiume , hivyo inawezekana akawa attracted kwa wanawake wenzie. Mfano yule mkimbiaji wa south afrika, haitakuwa ajabu kama anapenda wanawake
