I wish our Kenyan Mux could wake up and settle together in one Sat on Ku band like Amos 5 or Ses 5. They can even go the South African way with the OVHD decoder to protect content. Also the E 8B C band beam has an excellent coverage of the dark continent.

I wrote to standard group informing them that their KTN signal on Amos 5 is substandard and they should stop lying - KTN News is not on continental package- at least the one we know at Amos 5.

You might have to lower your dish very very slightly to combine the 2 satellites and expect to compromise signal on Nilesat. If you have a 130cm offset or 180cm PF you will stand a better chance with this hunt. Best of luck

My 180cm PF + Fuji Quad LNB outperforms my 130cm offset + Inverto Black Single LNB on similar satellite tps. The 130cm dish is usually not supplied with a support stand and is also cumbersome during transport, but lighter. Regards

Is this the wandering idle mind of an ASAS? I just think whoever designed and built the new main gate at Kenyatta University on Thika Highway was inspired by ASAS big time- and actually Eng. gridenko on this forum comes to mind (might that explain his prolonged silence); How else could you explain shape of the topping for the middle pillar? Me thinks it is a perfect offset dish that just requires an arm and lnb to start downloading from 7 East!

But like I said, it might just be the idle thoughts of ASAS.
