On my setup of 1.2m (120cm/135cm) offset dish + Inverto ultra black quad lnb locked on Nilesat 201/Eutelsat 7 west A and 8 west,also receiving all tp but two scratching with Q59% and Q60%

I was astounded by such a claim but the truth seeker in me i tried by inserting the TP and nothing can convince otherwise the degrees apart are too much.

Am using an Inverto Ultra Black Quad lnb which i noticed performs better on some frequencies when skewed to the vertical position.

I.e signal strength of frequency 11617 V Eutelsat 7 East A European beam goes up by 9% when lnb is placed in the vertical position.

Am currently exploring new fridge sat's with my 2.4 meter offset as Eutelsat 7 East A lifespan is expected to end year early next year.

Eutelsat 7 East A Technical info:-
Launch date 16th March 2004
Design life 12 year.
Give and take, Eutelsat 7 East B will replace Eutelsat 7 East A around March 2016.

This is actually my project next on my setup. I had also tried on my Nilesats and the best i could get was very strong S

I think no way out at the moment, SRT4950H opens two transponers on apstar and two on iso20, others i failed also. Lets wait if an upcoming update could rescue us.

He must have meant SES 5/Astra 4A (at 5°e). These are obtainable together with 7e on a single lnb.

I wish our Kenyan Mux could wake up and settle together in one Sat on Ku band like Amos 5 or Ses 5. They can even go the South African way with the OVHD decoder to protect content. Also 👆the E 8B C band beam has an excellent coverage of the dark continent.
