I did the input of the BISS keys including the latest this saturday 27th September but it did not work for me. My stb is srt 4950H running firmware ver 2.93. Anybody who has 4950H with PTV sports ?whats your firmware? and which BISS keys are you using?

their package costs U$ 8 (KSH 680) per month! And they only have a single package!

After blind scanning Intelsat 906 @64.2 was surprised to get a new tp 3757H4680 but is coded under biss.I do not know which channel it carries as no channel name came up.

AZAM rolled their service early this month here in Kampala at Hotel Africana.
They charge UGX 260,000/= (US$96) for their HD decoder, dish, installation plus one month's subscription.
Thereafter you pay a monthly subscription of about US$8 pm for their single and only package.
I noticed that their local staff were "poached" from UniChoice (dstv), Zuku and StarTimes.

Azam as a company has been in Uganda for many years and are mainly known for their
AZAM brand of wheat flour, milled and packed from their big plant in Industrial Area in Kampala.
Their popular 2kg packets of AZAM wheat flour can be found in most supermarkets in Uganda alongside
other local wheat brands like KASWA (Ntake), BLUE RIBBON, and PEMBE.

I was surprised at how they diversified from grain milling to pay-TV service business.
There must be an ASAS patient among their directors.

Incidentally their offices are within walking distance from Hotel Africana along Wampewo Avenue
in the posh Kololo area. They are in their own premises which have undergone extensive renovations.

Eutelsat Communications (NYSE Euronext Paris: ETL) and Nilesat, the Egyptian satellite operator, on 15th September 2014, announced that Nilesat has taken a long-term lease for multiple transponders on the EUTELSAT 8 West B satellite to be launched in mid-2015 to the leading video neighborhood in the Middle East and North Africa.


The 7/8 degrees West video neighborhood operated by Eutelsat and Nilesat broadcasts more than 1,000 TV channels to over 52 million homes located from Morocco in the West to the Gulf in the East.

Eutelsat and Nilesat have progressively built a comprehensive broadcast infrastructure at 7/8 degrees West, comprising three Eutelsat and two Nilesat satellites specifically designed for Direct-to-Home reception.

Both operators have steadily brought new capacity on line to meet thriving demand and the acceleration of High Definition channel launches.
The next phase of expansion comes next year with EUTELSAT 8 West B that will bring additional resources, increased operational flexibility and improved signal integrity for client broadcasters.


The additional transponders booked by Nilesat on EUTELSAT 8 West B complement resources already leased on the EUTELSAT 8 West C satellite that equips Nilesat to meet immediate customer expectations for high-performance capacity.

Services on EUTELSAT 8 West C satellite will be transferred to EUTELSAT 8 West B once the satellite enters service.
