African Satellite World and Sat Gear

African Satellite World and Sat Gear

I have srt 4950H firmware ver 2.82,it opens the PTV Sports without requesting for Biss Keys
Aside to FTA-NASH ,great work

True ..... Over the weekend, some people were 'caught on camera' enabled with 'night-vision' at 9Pm in the dark on top of a building, hammering a badly-damaged 180Cm PF dish back into shape; because come rain or shine, PTV Sports had to be conquered. After hours of shivering in the cold, hanging on a dangerously sloping roof, and keeping neighbours awake with all sorts of workshop tools noise, results streamed in!
Thanks to the Satlink WS-6906 meter, it can be 'overworked' for close to 5 hours and patiently retain power for you until you shout "Yes!" .......... we've hit green!
Now, the icing-on-the-cake was to watch the much-hunted channel without having to enter the biss-keys ........... hitting 78% on quality.
The beauty of C-band is that you don't have to worry about rain-fade and cloudy weather.
Oh, ... and the hot cup of tea brought us but to life!
Thank you Sir .............

The changed the modulation from DVB-S to DVB-S2 that is why you have lost the signal.

Gurus, I was editing some Biss keys on my srt 4950H(ver 2.82 firmware),after rebooting i lost most of the default BISS keys and hence cant open the digi**** and others. Questions
a) How do i reload the keys?
b) I noticed firmware ver 2.93 is available on crosat, will upgrading to ver 2.93 load the BISS keys by default? Any known issues on 2.93 for those who have upgraded?

It is very strange this beam does not even cover Zambia the most targeted audience. Is the package available on any other tp on the Africa beam? What dish size are you using to get it in Kenya?
