Hallo forum members thank you for the great eye opening information in this great forum ever since i was recommended here, I have watched on the sidelines and i must admit i have picked up mild symptoms of. Asas...
For the last 2yrs i have been an active subscriber of d*t* but due to high premium rates i am forced to reconsider my options. So i went out and bought a strong decoder. On luthuli avenue and verified it if it was genuine thanks to the info from kungu bought it plus stargold digital finder( which i must admit broke my heart at first attempt to successfully hunt) headed home tried to nab 7w but failed miserably gave up and called my local installer who nabbed it but could only get around 400 hundred channels. This end month am planning to buy a 130 cm eurostar dish hence i will have two ie the 90 cm previously used for d*** and the incoming 130 cm one my questions are :
1. Which lnbs do i need to buy to nab the elusive di****k goodies.
2. Which satellites do i need to combine to give me max number of ftas considering that i intend to have atleast two lnbs per dish
3. Who can comfortably bring these birds home for me at a reasonable price considering i live in the sunton area of kasarani

Thanks members

Anyone in Uganda using a huawei orange 3G modem to enjoy IPTVs and other stuff, can please let me know the APN settings you use. I've been trying for over a week with orange.ug as my APN and *99# as the dial number on a Starsat SR-2000HD HYPER but have had no success yet.
Otherwise ASAS impatience may force me to visit Mulago if this continues for 2 more days.

Here is my new Chinese made 180cm (6ft) offset dish fully assembled. It is partly meshed as you can see.
Please note the attached Chinese made twin Ku-band LNB with its conical scalar.
I now get all tps on 7E including 11618 V 30000 with Nat Geo and the good music with video.
My 11618 V comes in at 65% quality on SRT 4922 and this is the lowest tp, while others reach 98% quality which seems to be the absolute maximum you can get on Strong receivers.
I will soon add more LNBs to nab SES 5 and Nilesat Group on the same dish to reduce acreage on my dish farm.

Hallo guys, i am new to this satellite world and therefore i may have a lot of question.

I leave in Umoja1, East lands of course. i am interested in installing sat equipment so that i get most Free to Air channels which are in English. In addition to that i would love to get most sports channels so what kind of receiver should i get?
I have been sold to Humax cause of abu dhabi sports or al jazeera and all premier league action at an affordable rate however i don't know where to buy one and registering the card is a bit of an hassle. Any advice would be appreciated
