Anyone getting SSHD3 on Intelsat 20 68.5E SA Beam?The channel is free now.I can not get the HD channels with 2.4m pf antenna.I have stargold LNB.If I use the black ultra can it improve reception using this antenna?

happy Easter everyone.does anyone know if aljazeera international is still available on 7w?mine was showing loud n clear till jana afternoon then all over sudden went blank with the msg no audio or video though signal strength indicates 76%...any takes on this ?i still have bbc and cnn.

Hi. am looking to do some magic(C-band lnb on my 120cm off-set or even a 90cm). My question is when i buy the lnb,say as pictured above, does it come with its scalar ring or do i have to cannibalise some other setup/hunt for it(scalar ring) elsewhere? Have a look at this, guys. Good quality cable (RG6 and above) with cable run not exceeding 30m (else you'll need an in-line amplifier), good quality LNB (see earlier posts for comparative tests done by various forum members, results posted here in previous pages/posts) and a bigger dish.

C-band LNBs come with their own scalar rings. However, I have read that offset dishes require the conical scalar ring as opposed to the flat type that comes with these LNBs and which is intended for primefocus dishes.

Hata mimi wameniambia i add 50 usd for world cup. My dealer says i pay 2k per month for bein full package if i pay 1 year advance. That is 24k. Anyway, am not interested in 8w now, planning to get me an admc sports decoder to nab mbcs plus more on hd for 3500 a year. Wish there was a decoder that could combine both bein and admc.

There is no 2 way abt it... I have to get both of them. Is there someone who sells ADMC decoders in Nrb? Where and how much?

first try blind scanning on 8w n see if MBC will pop up.if you don't get them,you have to slightly lower your dish abt 0.3cm..for my case i lowere

I think I will have to lower coz i blind scanned but no MBC channels and I dont have the tp 1471 V SR 27500 for MBC on eutelsat 8w on my TP list, tried manually adding the TP but no signal nor quality, am using astrovox reciever which does not have eutelsat 7w nor eutelsat 8w on the satellite list but I get the eutelsat 7W channels under sattelite labelled uerobird 9A. If I lower the dish and blind scan will that work?

Is there anyone close to the equator receiving Intelsat 20 68.5E South Africa Beam with a dish as small as 130cm offset? I tried yesterday afternoon (weather was perfect) with a 135cm offset and got the Ku Tps apart from those for the SA beam. If there is someone receiving the SA beam from close or even north of the equator, I'll be more than :bange: to learn about your setup.
