No it cant its too short and narrow, like kassych told you buy the 2 inch metal pipe. I may add that buy a metal pipe that is not only 2 inch wide but thick as well. This will prevent it from buckling when you tighten the nuts.

Well, the 90cm IMO are weak, I had to fabricate a 2 inch girth metal pipe at the local welder complete with support mounts with drilled in holes to attach to the wall. I know my guy sells them(Avartacam and DQCAM) but he is not Selling currently bse the servers got attack till when things are ok
Avartacam acc opens W4/W7 and nilesat
DQCAM is for hotbird and Nilesat

intellectual property rights and crack down
on signal piracy across the Arab world.
"The region's television landscape has
evolved significantly, and this growth has
been spurred by the creation of original
content," said David Butorac, CEO, OSN.
"Intellectual Property crime is not a
victimless crime. It inhibits the capacity for
companies like ours to invest to create a
viable and robust entertainment industry,
something this region deserves. Through the
Anti-Piracy Coalition, we will work with
leaders from the industry and carry out a
concerted effort to crack down on piracy."
The issue does not just affect pay-TV
operators such as OSN. The region's leading
free-to-air (FTA) satellite TV network MBC
has also been a victim of intellectual
property theft.
Sam Barnett, CEO, MBC Group, said: "Pirate
channels are stealing hundreds of movies a
week and broadcasting them across tens of
millions of homes. But the really surprising
fact is that a few otherwise respectable
companies are assisting and supporting
them to do this. Our coalition will help raise
awareness of the issue, galvanise support
from the legitimate industry and hopefully
make life tougher for the pirates."
The coalition says it will adopt an all-
inclusive approach and will work with all
willing satellite operators, advertisers,
studios and broadcasters to stop pirate
channels in MENA.

c band lnb. my setup has 3 lnb. one for nilesat and eutelsat 7a. the c band btwn the two. it shows good programmes like national geographic at 9 evry day too. my wife and kids also

A sun outage, sun transit or sun fade is an interruption in or distortion of geostationary satellite signals caused by interference from solar radiation. The effect is due to the sun's radiation overwhelming the satellite signal.

In the northern hemisphere, sun outages occur before the March equinox (February, March) and after the September equinox (September and October), and in the southern hemisphere the outages occur after the March equinox and before the September equinox. At these times, the apparent path of the sun across the sky takes it directly behind the line of sight between an earth station and a satellite.

The sun radiates strongly across the entire spectrum, including the microwave frequencies used to communicate with satellites (C-band,K[SUB]u[/SUB] band, and K[SUB]a[/SUB] band), so the sun swamps the signal from the satellite.
The effects of a sun outage range from partial degradation (increase in the error rate) to total destruction of the signal.

The effect sweeps from north to south from approximately 20 February to 20 April, and from south to north from approximately 20 August to 20 October, affecting any specific location for less than 12 minutes a day for a few consecutive days.
