May someone from Kampala recommend a reputable sat shop where one can shop a "reasonable" HD stb for a very small short-term emergency budget ( Ugsh 250000 i.e. abt $100); it wouldnt hurt if the stb had patch options with keen interest in french content. Am apparently eyeing a pocket size DVB-S2 receiver named My box 2 Mini Mini HD from seasathd.com in a shop on Bombo road around the YMCA area. The My box 2 is offered at Ugsh 150000. If anyone has better recommendations for the same price range, I'll be more than grateful!

Its seems to me that Eutelsat 8 west A @8w is the satt to watch out for.

Hi Kibukila, with 180cm i bet you can. Why not give it a try. Use Aljazeera America tp(11637V27500) to track it.

I will Recommend you visit some shop near queens way(forgotten the name). as you are comming from Entebbe just after USAFI market on your left , there you will find a shop that has many satellite equipment including STRONG SRT 4922 Receivers at UGX 250,000/=9best price in KLA). the good thing is that they are cheaper than the shops on Bombo road and with good equipment. you cant miss the shop since dishes are displayed outside the shop. You can also PM me for more directions.

Thats true Kiddjayr. On the contrary, Eutelsat 8 west A was ok to me.

One has to compromise on the quality of other channel by lowering the dish a bit to get the said MBC channels. Though a bigger dish that the trick well.

rodrigues is ku band which am also recvng. nbc shows all live games. hata kuna game ya madem (football) which was at around 4.
