What's the length of actuator and pliz if you can post the lnb set up
The actuator is 18inch or 45cm stroke length which happens to be equal to the total stroke length of elevation mount of my 8ft

LNB set up is multi lnb (5lnbs; 3 C band and 2 ku band) on the 8ft.

On the picture, when the dish is set to point at 68.5, the primary lnb is 68.5, the upper cband parasite is 76.5, the lower cband is 64.2 and the lower ku is 57e.

The upper ku lnb does not nab anything at that point, but the dish can be moved to let it nab from 52.5 ku, 55e ku 57e ku, 68.5 ku, 70.5 ku 75e ku.

The cband primary lnb when the dish is moved, can nab anything between 52e to 91.5 measat that does not require dielectric plate. Eg belintersat, 64.2C, 66C, 68.5C, 72C, 75C ,76.5C, 78C, 91.5C

The lowest cband lnb has dielectric plate when the dish is moved it can nab sats along the 51.5 to 91.5 arc that do require dielectric so far I've been successful in nabbing 57.e C using it. Not successful on 62e C

The multi lnb set up also avoids unnecessary long movements that contribute to ware and tare. Eg instead of moving the primary lnb all the way from 68.5 to 78.5, just move it a little so that the highest parasite lnb at 76.5 moves just an inch to 78.5

Or instead of moving dish from 68.5 to 76.5, just switch to parasite lnb at 76.5 without any movement. Also saves waiting time while switches between channels on different sats

I salute you what's your location

Hi guys, i have freesat V7HD and 6ft dish points 68.5 but i can not access sony channels with signal strength of 45, can someone help coz i got encrypt program on all sony channels, location Kinondoni DSM

What are you getting on your wessyde i can see a dish.

Am hooked on 3W & 7e combo (what a waste of a 6ft! ). I've been planning on pushing it down to 18w but I've been too lazy.

Also planning on attaching the smaller actuator I had earlier on the 6ft. and also robotise it.

ni kwangu pekeyangu ama lnb yangu ndio haifanyi poa.......diskovaries at is20 zinapotea alafu zinakuja jioni
when i left jeet was on narudi saa hii i want to watch my criminal documentaries they are gone ...what could be the issue

That's how the Ovaries behave at times.

It's their own encryption system; dissapear when you're at home to watch them and reappear when you're away.

Mine are 92% at daytime but 89% in the evening but dancing throughout with 8ft you should be able to do that.

i think thats why i guess ....... they are currently on my 6ft....good work on the robotics bythe way

Not so. Since last year its 24/7, come rain come shine, on 6ft pf with pauxis lnb single. But I'm currently using pauxis twin (performs same as single) model PX-1220 extended to another receiver in salon & barber shop.

so i should get pauxis .....

(pesa iliisha when i bought the 8ft hehe )

Maybe its just me,but it seems to be a waste of resources using a sat dish to search for local channels.Of course others would disagree.yes 52.5e is a great place to start, though some vital tps are weak for a 90cm. For example I only nabbed 12130h just once and it disappeared. And of course the ones showing football need a bigger dish since they are not on the MENA beam(if am not wrong). Successful sat hunting with a 90 cm almost calls for the precision of a neurosurgeon. The dish stand/base must be completely vertical and the focal lengths, lnb adjustments, azimuths and elevations must be as recommended.
You cud be right.... but for your info, in some locations its hard to get a decent terrestiaL signal for local channels

I had tried to add C-band lnb on Is 20, and failed to track targeted stuff.
Well! truth be told C band requires some precision approach in everything! Starting from the dish material, size, assembling the dish, right distance between the prime angle to the lnb scalar ring, how tight the bolts are, the kind of lnb, positioning and the dish base. These primary requisites are what makes many give up on Cband and its what separate the Ku from Cband installers. But once mastered, its a sure way to go for FTA.

But you can manage with a 6ft. Get them to 72 (if you are using Freesat or Gsky) then in mid day it drops to 66 and in evening it dances around 66-63. That means you have it 24/7.
Maximise it early in the morning like 6:00-7:00 or 7:30. it is very friendly in those hours. For me I usually use the #BO TP, I make sure it gets to 95% quality then d*$coveries gets them selves 72%.
Once I manage that, its there 24/7.
