I was thinking of removing ergonomics features of lnb.!

Haha don't spoil 2 lnbs just for 68.5.. the egornomics have their purpose like preventing water infiltration then they look expensive two of them would cost what $30? While another 90cm is around $20.
Not a wise move.

Combining 68.5 and 70 e is not possible. The sats are too close.

As you can see when combining 70 and 75e (5° apart ) the lnbs are already touching each other. Now what about 2° apart? (68.5- 70.5)

The lnbs would need to eat each other.


You would need to sacrifice the 70e if you really need 68.5. or find a separate dish.

Or you can use a single lnb for both. But that needs a strong lnb on a larger dish.

90cm is enough for 68.5 and 70b just needs balancing .

I had that combo before I moved houses using an Inverto Ultra Black and a Eurostar 90 cm dish though rain fade was an issue to some TPs.

Yesterday I received a call from DHL, I went and got a package from the Freesat company as a free sample for their new V8 Finder BTO3, that they expect to release it soon. a small sized green sat finder that can fit in a jeans small pocket( or more like a Tecno charger size), that is linked with a smartphone using a V8 Finder android app through Bluetooth.

Nahisi wanataka kuniroga. He he he.

I tested it a little bit, it is very accurate.
It feeds its power though a smartphone power bank!
I'm yet to test it more so I may feed back to Freesat company! Wish they had sent me their about to be released new V7HD plus. But I'm grateful, as now I don't need any thing else other than my smartphone, power bank and BT03.
Honestly this thing is a big deal!

gomer 70.5e + 68.5e on a 90 dish is very possible even with a eurostar lnb. Was there sometime back. Just try combining them first.

The bamba channels on the pic are on 70e. But from that "efatha (trenet)" channel downwards are on 66e according to lyngsat. By the way 66e ku also has RT, France 24, a few Somali channels and temporary ntv Uganda feeds.
Family tv kenya has also popped up in that position.


The ANN channel is around that position not sure. You see I was just playing around with my crude motor and bumped on it.

I did a blind scan for many other sats under abs-2 75e that's why they are appearing there. It's a mess.

kamathig, I tried combining 70.5e and 68.5e on a single lnb, getting all ktn channels and oops to Bamba package and strong freq. from 68.5e; then had that idea of two lnb combination in one dish.

Hello fellow ASAS is MBC package still blazing at 7W I moved my Six ft from 68.5e to this bird. I'm getting 68℅ as quality for this tp from flysat 11559 v 27500 and after scanning the tp I'm getting 11 channels named test 1 to test 11 and out of those only one arabic channel has pictures the others are blank.
