African Satellite World and Sat Gear

Do something ndugu, do not let that opportunity pass you by. You will get some extra coins as you liberate Wabongo wengine kutoka kwa pingu za kulipia runinga.
Actually Tz has more active FTA enthusiasts than Kenya. But most consume their content.

Ooooooohh by the way that building is called "jamii (telecom) house" thought they used fibre?

Now they're saying Africa is moving from satellite internet while internet companies they're moving to (like Faiba) are sourcing internet from satellite. Irony.
There are some upload dishes for St*rtymes in Upperhill while they also have a downlink farm in Tigoni. For BB his downlinks are in Karen and Upperhill. Z*ku's is on Mombasa road which gives me eye-garsms .Az*m's mini farm is off Ngong Road.

Most institutions/corporation which have the muscle use Vsat internet, its very reliable and secure with insane speeds and of course dedicated. Talking of 150mbps down/up.
Ilks of UN,parastatals,embassies.

Btw those who need 100/50 down/up dedicated can get from Faimba for One million bob per month

@Let Love Reign. Vipi kaka, sipo Ithopia ila nimo hapa hapa Afrika mashariki.
The decoder you are referring to is NURSTAR HD_LEG_A25 although the STB i was promoting was iSATbox TSR-141HD. Both satellite decoders were based on ChipSet MONTAGE M88CS6001 and can share compatible s\w via USB Upgrade; the last s\w was dated 20 January 2018. GSky v.7HD MOD s\w can be manipulated to work in the iSATbox tsr-141HD.

Any latest s\w [if any] can be downloaded from Ethiopian satellite enthusiasts on social media; unfortunately they charge a minimum of at least $3 per download.

I can supply you with a minimum of 1-30 units of iSATbox tsr-141HD satellite decoders if interested.
Thank you for the rich information you have provided me with! Now! Is it capable of decrypting $ports 24 or am just dreaming!

Reminds me of this huge about 12 foot offset dish (visible from satellite images) facing east I saw at a new building in upperhill used for internet. Besides it there is a 6ft offset dish facing west also for internet.

If 'africa is abandoning satellite internet status' as reported is true. Then soon they'll be scrapping those internet dishes and we'll get them for the price of mandazis.
This is good news... My big offset could find a twin soon. I am happy

Don't think it belongs to an individual. The owner must be coporate. Somewhere near kasneb.

SquidMakomere got one of those and he's yet to update the house on what became of it.
It is very much alive but not in use. I am yet to find what to do with it. Only my 2 90cm for SES 5, Eutelsat 8W and Nilesat 201 are in use. I am still marvelled by the numerous channels from the three sats being a newbie. The huge one will stay in store till I find work for it..a step at a time. Though I was lucky as a friend from Dubai brought me an Inverto Twin for it...but sina cha 'kuifanyia' at least for now.

Yesterday I received a call from DHL, I went and got a package from the Freesat company as a free sample for their new V8 Finder BTO3, that they expect to release it soon. a small sized green sat finder that can fit in a jeans small pocket( or more like a Tecno charger size), that is linked with a smartphone using a V8 Finder android app through Bluetooth.

Nahisi wanataka kuniroga. He he he.

I tested it a little bit, it is very accurate.
It feeds its power though a smartphone power bank!
I'm yet to test it more so I may feed back to Freesat company! Wish they had sent me their about to be released new V7HD plus. But I'm grateful, as now I don't need any thing else other than my smartphone, power bank and BT03.
Honestly this thing is a big deal!

Good news.
Still thinking if I can nab it here in South West of Tanzania (Near Zambia).
Give it a try as many Zambians reports to get it through a 90cm offset dish! You being closer to Zambia you can access it. However, it may need a little patience as many say it's elusive due to the instability of the sat signal.

Been looking to the beams currently available, definitely, ECOWAS 1 can't be reached from here, may be ECOWAS 2 that covers some parts of Zambia can be tried.

@Let Love Reign, the last s\w dated 20 January 2018 was able to open Sxxxpts 24HD just like most STBs in the market; whatever GSky HD was capable of doing at the time, iSATbox TSR-141HD was equally capable of performing. When all Linux-based STBs went under as far as $ports 24HD & $xny ENt-HD, iSATbox tsr-141HD was no exception and it too took the plunge.

Efforts to market iSATbox tsr-141HD were futile as STBs in the East African market are vexed on Strong HD & FreeSAT HD.

I quote:"Is it capable of decrypting $ports 24 or am just dreaming!". Yes, it is capable but only IF SUPPORTING PATCH S/W is available.

can 8 ft prime focus nab yahsat 52.5 east beam as a parasite
