African Satellite World and Sat Gear

African Satellite World and Sat Gear

Reminds me of this huge about 12 foot offset dish (visible from satellite images) facing east I saw at a new building in upperhill used for internet. Besides it there is a 6ft offset dish facing west also for internet.

If 'africa is abandoning satellite internet status' as reported is true. Then soon they'll be scrapping those internet dishes and we'll get them for the price of mandazis.

. People somewhere complained that Asians and Africans have big mouths while their Europe counterparts always zips up! That's why the Bi$$ and Mbawavu softwares aimed for europe are not upgraded as often as those beaming to Africa, Asia and Latin America!

It's only that Africans and Asians are naturally Socialists and Communists as opposed to European (All for me and myself) Capitalists.

Sharing to Africans and Asians comes naturally. Someone said we are recouping what they stole from us during colonialism.

Pay TV infected most of Tanzanians! It is very difficult to cobvice somebody to pay about Tsh. 250,000 for FTA accessories.
Worse enough swahili. based movies for women and Vodacom league for men

Mostly so the aged ones.....

Nani anaona so*y es*N & Sita kwa VsabaHD at the moment. Is the 3rd Aug update still active?
What's 4950h handling at moment seems v7 and v8 are doing better. Is 4950h rolling a£n on 5e?

@ndusa, the 03 August 2018 up-date software is reported as currently working on 4FN @64east. @Wakirigiti, all the recent s\ws released by Strong HD seem to have issues; yesterday i up-graded to s\w SRT4950H_V4.31p_27072018.rar but unfortunately simple PxxerVu auto-roll seems impossible.

Africa is still dependent on satellite technology. We are not truly in the internet sphere yet.

Ras Kush there is this popular decoder in Ethiopia known as Leg A 25 that was opening M7N world wide at nss12 as of June. Does it still roll them until now? ( am assuming you are from Ethiopia, forgive me if you are not).

SquidMakomere got one of those and he's yet to update the house on what became of it.

Ooooooohh by the way that building is called "jamii (telecom) house" thought they used fibre?

Now they're saying Africa is moving from satellite internet while internet companies they're moving to (like Faiba) are sourcing internet from satellite. Irony.

The 3rd August update did its wonders for a week, then the info was allover then the $onys shifted the gear again by taking a leap from 11( to hashmode 16), so it was reported. People somewhere complained that Asians and Africans have big mouths while their Europe counterparts always zips up! That's why the Bi$$ and Mbawavu softwares aimed for europe are not upgraded as often as those beaming to Africa, Asia and Latin America!

Too bad

@Let Love Reign. Vipi kaka, sipo Ithopia ila nimo hapa hapa Afrika mashariki.
The decoder you are referring to is NURSTAR HD_LEG_A25 although the STB i was promoting was iSATbox TSR-141HD. Both satellite decoders were based on ChipSet MONTAGE M88CS6001 and can share compatible s\w via USB Upgrade; the last s\w was dated 20 January 2018. GSky v.7HD MOD s\w can be manipulated to work in the iSATbox tsr-141HD.

Any latest s\w [if any] can be downloaded from Ethiopian satellite enthusiasts on social media; unfortunately they charge a minimum of at least $3 per download.

I can supply you with a minimum of 1-30 units of iSATbox tsr-141HD satellite decoders if interested.
