Don't make me buy freesat. Please try PVR function and report if working.

The auto-roll of "Jeshi la Mwafrika" on SES-5 will be until 14th September 2018 at which point VeriMatrix will take over. Is it worth the sweat?

Let one 6ft face East and the other west. East get 68,76 West 5e,7w

You mean 5E and 7W are receivable on one 6 footer or you meant 5E/7E?

And are the TPs that carry CNN on 201 beam and BBC World News practically receivable in Nairobi with a 90cm since the footprint map shows that 75-95er can nab it?

If you're on the south side of Nairobi, (South B southwards towards Tanzania ) yo'll need a 130cm to nab the BBC/CNN TP. You can combine 7w & 5 e on a 6ft with 7w as primary and get BBC CNN Tp

Its just a basic PVR ready! nothing fancy about it. while recording you can only watch other channels on the same TP.
I just wanted to know if you can record the forces on freesat because my 4955 couldn't do it.

Okay, I am near the lower side of Eastleigh facing Jerusalem, well, can I get BBC/CNN TP on a 90?

So we should forget them like BFBS after 14th Sept?

It's not possible to record any satellite broadcast channel running on a patch especially the one in question.

Seems like the individual who posted this info was informed from a reliable source. If Strong & GSky s\w engineers would wake up then they would save us a lot of hustle. Personally i'm not buying another decoder in the name of "opening" this or the other. Hapana taka iingine!!!

No It is very possible to record 4XNs for example. Even the forces could record some weeks before they upgraded to #10. You can record Disco & T£C on IS20. Machine:4955

ok.am learning.but if that is the case then it is depressing.it means our brothers in tz are paying sh.750 to enjoy something we buy at 2k in kenya
There could be differences, in China you get what you ask for. Unless i get to compare each lnb under same conditions at the same dish and decoder i won't judge.

Although the decoder opens I doubt if it can record but i will try and report.

Maybe the srt4955HD is superior, this question of recording satellite broadcast signals is very rampant on-line. You're the first person to have given it a green. Strangely though Arab satellite receivers including Strong HD are manufactured with a lot of "hidden" secrets.

I reside in Kiambu and use 90cm heavy gauge (Elsat) and inverto black to get a stable BBC, as you move towards Westlands and upper towards Thika signal improves. Get a good lnb, clear west and a good full 90cm. I have installed 7w around Nairobi.
