I just wanted to know if you can record the forces on freesat because my 4955 couldn't do it.

It's not possible to record any satellite broadcast channel running on a patch especially the one in question.

Not true at all with Freesat or hellobox. You can record whatever you can view even with the said 4fn.

I think it also depends on the device you're trying to record on. I always had flash drives and older (pre 2010 manufacturered) hard drives rejected but works fine on latest drives. The only downside; It consumes 2.5mb per second of recording HD channels.. An hour recording is over 4GB. At that rate, a 500gb HDD won't last 2 months. This discaurages people alot.

Seems like the individual who posted this info was informed from a reliable source. If Strong & GSky s\w engineers would wake up then they would save us a lot of hustle. Personally i'm not buying another decoder in the name of "opening" this or the other. Hapana taka iingine!!!

I reside in Kiambu and use 90cm heavy gauge (Elsat) and inverto black to get a stable BBC, as you move towards Westlands and upper towards Thika signal improves. Get a good lnb, clear west and a good full 90cm. I have installed 7w around Nairobi.

Then I should. I use an Inverto and Eurostar dish but the time I was doing alignment I was specifically after DW. I had received 7W and I remember watching AJ & Dubai 1 but on asking the house for assistance I was advised to raise a bit thus I homed on 5E/7E.

I would gladly need one though currently I am cash-tied, yes, I am in the city. Transportation would be an issue too. From where in Kiambu please and do the experts say that it can combine 7E & 5/7E on a single LNB?

I combine 5e,7e and 8w on 1.8 with different lnbs. The challenge for me is freq 10886H. No matter how hard i try, this freq is very shaky. Others have strong signals. Advise
