African Satellite World and Sat Gear

How come all other frequencies remain as stated on lyngsat without changing any settings
because of your lnb skew settings and decoder lnb frequency settings. while calculating downlink frequencies the decoder communicates with the Lnb and "sees" how the signal is hitting the probes. If you use the correct lnb settings the decoder software just autocorrects. Our old fossil brother 4922 needs your help to make deductions.

A lyngsat error that could cost you upto 3hrs of your life when you're tracking 1west. NBC frequency listed as 3977 when infact it's 3377. And that's supposed to be the tracking freq. I said to hell with tracking freqs am going for the real thing! And got it within minutes. Flysat copy pasted the same error

Lyngsat is correct. It's your LNB settings that are 'wrong' (for want of a better word).

I always laugh whenever I see you guys refering 1.8m dish as BUD. Here in 9ja, we don't refer 1.8m dish as BUD. Our BUD starts from 3m dish upward...

Nobody said 1.8m is a BUD. Who sets standards on what is a BUD anyway. Certainly not you Nigerians

Big and ugly are subjective terms. Your beautiful wife could be ugly to someone else. If my 90cm bb dish looks big and ugly to me, I reserve all rights to call it a Big Ugly Dish.

And You Nigerian guys started making fun of JF members as early as 2015 thinking it would die but look here we are in 2018. People leave and people join

@X-PONDER, thanks for the information you shared regarding your STB device. Your decoder is an original & genuine DiGiSat Deluxe2 HD satellite receiver, manufactured mainly for the Ukrainian & Russian markets. The STB is based on 2nd Generation ChipSet CPU MONTAGE HST1081 6001-01[A]; UART Up-Grade Tool/ Loader is available although i'm not sure whether there is an rs232 connector in the STB.

Any original latest patch firmware meant for the Ukrainian & Russian market will not work in Africa & Asia where auto-roll algorithm is the order of the day.

Kindly zoom in and send me a snap-shot of the Main-Board Chassis Number- HST1081 6001-01[A] including an "All Flash" file of the current firmware installed in the device DiGiSat Deluxe2 HD. Send firmware details to isatbox.africa@gmail.com
