African Satellite World and Sat Gear

went looking for a 6ft dish in nairobi today and my gosh the price has realy gone up and more so seems theres a shortage went to riwara they dint have same with fine line and other shops around tiriki lane spike were selling it at 8,500.found a shop selling a certain type called drom anyone heard of it
Drom is the shop that liases with Chinese manufacturers to produce his own branded equipment like dishes batteries etc. Drom is the name of the shop. Most of his stuff are fake though. He's the guy that distributes fake supermax lnbs at a price higher than the genuine one. Shame on him.

is he based in nairobi and tried looking for strong a decorder n no shop had it in stock
Strong is only found at alpha sound electronics in river road. They're the designated distributors. Nowhere else

Yes it is possible as long as they remain FTA as they are now

And if you are very much instrested in radio stations, there is an NBC frequency on 1W which has an audio channel called "Virtual Radio" with 20 Audio channels Each audio channel has a Left and right Sub Audio channel with different radio stations like South african gospel, rnb etc. Making a total of about 40 radio stations. intresting

You can also tune to freq 3800 57E BFB$ package has some high quality audio channels

alpha sound contacts were supposed to get you Strong decoder they do not sell large dishes. Buying a dish shouldn't be a major headache as you can check the gauge which is the only consideration before buying. you can contact GIDEN or go to shops along tiriki lane.

A new dish is obviously properly aligned and if not you'll be able to see the petals not fitting on each other when packed.

Nobody said 1.8m is a BUD. Who sets standards on what is a BUD anyway. Certainly not you Nigerians

Big and ugly are subjective terms. Your beautiful wife could be ugly to someone else. If my 90cm bb dish looks big and ugly to me, I reserve all rights to call it a Big Ugly Dish.

And You Nigerian guys started making fun of JF members as early as 2015 thinking it would die but look here we are in 2018. People leave and people join

Wow!!! I can't believe what am seeing here. Am short of words that you freq of all people quoted my post with so much aggression and hate but if I may ask you, what have I done to you that made you to stoop so low that you put up this gibberish in a public forum.

Again, your comments about Chinedu is totally wrong. I see no reason why you are leveling a false accusation against Chinedu. He never made fun of any member of this great forum (jamiiforum). He was only advising some set of people not to be having their discussion concerning satellite free to air on WhatsApp rather they should be discussing it on the forum (nairaland) so that the forum doesn't look deserted. Try and read his post again without bitter heart for you to be able to comprehend what he was saying. Even some honorable member of this forum like wakilongo and ilish made similar post that Chinedu made on nairaland.

Check this link below.

Again, I know anther person in this forum that made a similar post saying that he asked a question on the WhatsApp group but was treated badly but am not ready to call his name.

Good morning dejumbo,
I translated your comments and thus it said

"This socialist Mumwambie anyamanze completely. We do not want to quarrel with the people of the "haram" even if it wabokoni.
We, the people of East Africa, we love each other very much and we do not want to insult Nairaland we see every day."

Am not trying to insult anyone here but since you have insulted me by calling me people of haram, well I say thank you. Keep the hate burning and I say once again thank you.

Hello Mr. Dlee

Sorry if you felt insulted by my comments.

My point was if you must contribute to this forum, Do it positively. You don't stay without contributing then the only time you contribute, you make fun and ridicule East Africans with comments like "I always laugh when I see you doing xxxx"

Answer a question or make some positive contribution. Chest thumping on who is the guru and who has the biggest BUD isn't helpful to anybody.

I do not encourage looking down on newbies and people with "small" dishes.

Otherwise you are welcome if you have any new helpful ideas you guys have in Nigeria.
