There I see the problem. MTN at 68.5e is linear signal it doesn't need the dielectric plate.Sir Ras Kush I've done exactly that but M&TN is still playing hard to get wonder what could be the other trick an not aware of![]()

I was trying the one at 57e. Mtn ww package where S24 is. The strange thing is when I did a blind scan I could find the BFBS package but the TP frequency it was coming on was around 12,000 strange because I suspect that is a ku band range frequency and I was using a c band lnb. The freq for bfbs as per lyngsat is just 3900.There I see the problem. MTN at 68.5e is linear signal it doesn't need the dielectric plate.

Ok the DE plate is actually vertically placed only how I took the picture making it appear slanted. I'll correct the connector position. I had also tried the 12 o'clock position. maybe the lnb model is the problem. Thought s24 bieng on the global beam which is strong here in e.africa didn't require a special lnb model. Turns out I was wrong. Don't know if I can find supermax but I have another Pauxis I'll try with over the weekend. Thanks for your advicefreq, Your set up has very notable errors:
1. EuroStar ESCD- 600Gold long neck has never been reported to lock on the stubborn frequency of Spxxxs 24HD. Even if it did lock, chances are maybe during its formative years. Incase of a long neck LNB, you will have to push the original di-electric plate [app. 40mm] all the way further inside. Recommended LNB was SuperMax vh777 short-neck 17K. It is worth noting that Eurostar ES21 and SuperMax vh111/ vh777 all share the same LNB skew.
2. Your di-electric plate is positioned in a North West-South East direction, recommended was North-South direction. The plate you slice MUST be square and the edges smoothed out.
3. Your LNB F-Connector is @ 6 O'clock; recommended should be @ 12 O'clock mark.
Take time to study earlier posts by forumists on this thread notably Giden, Vicwa & Kibukila who have selflessly tackled the Eastern Arc extensively.
I beg to differ, i have severally locked on m*tn tp with the 600. If you are still failing change the Teflon position slot. Also try both 3oclock and 6oclock skew positions. I already have people using it.

Use the Escdt 600 first. Single solution lnb may even compound your confusion.Ok the DE plate is actually vertically placed only how I took the picture making it appear slanted. Thanks Giden. Actually I had the Pauxis dual band but I knew it would be more confusing for a c band fresher like me so I got the eurostar C-band Only for a start. Never knew hunting on c band is a whole different world than ku. But the more you live the more you learn. I also suspect the LNB frequency setting in the decoder has been set wrongly. I was using 5150/5750 is this proper?Use the Escdt 600 first. Single solution lnb may even compound your confusion.
Actually the last setup on 600 I locked as parasite with a Q55% very stable.
5150 is usually the correct one, but 5150/5750 also works because the stb checks both symbol rates to identify which one is working. As regards the plate me I usually put it vertically in between the two antennas. For skew it differs with lnb for the same sat. I know roughly where 68.5e is, so when the SaT finder makes maximum noise I set lnb first 2 o'clock then 5 o'clock to see where green is then I adjust to maximise. I have gotten MTN with 4 different lnbs. Thanks Giden. Actually thats the wrong lnb frequency, use 5150 only. 600 is not a single solution lnbThanks Giden. Yep.. specs on the box also indicate 5150.. with this ton of knowledge I've got from the house I should now be able to move a step aheadActually thats the wrong lnb frequency, use 5150 only. 600 is not a single solution lnb
