Hi, I'm also in Mombasa. I am debating between Azam TV and satellite dish 1.3m and 4950H. Which documentaries and movie channels am I likely to get? I was told it is hard to receive signals in this region unless one has a gigantic 1.8m-2.4m dish.

Which satellite? I too bought this sometimes last week but yet to connect as my Astrovox decoder sucks!

Thanks. I will need to buy the SRT 4922. Can SRT 4950H also work? I am using Astrovox which I think is very poor. I locked on Eutelsat 36A signal 50% but was surprised the decoder couldn't find any signal! Gave up till I get a better decoder.

I am in KE. Intending to receive True Movies 1, BBC, CNN and a host of other English channels. I really like documentaries and news features. I just acquired Stargold Fuji for KU prime focus.

How much did you get that? I looked around in Luthuli Av. in Nairobi but in vain, I settled for Stargold for prime focus which was also scantly available.
