After bieng accused of posting paper projects, stalled or projects that have not started yet, you go online to look for something that will 'nyamazisha' everyone, but in the process you are at the same place of tuta-,wata-, ngoja tuki-.... Ungekua umepost pic mbili tatu ama kuanzisha threat ya picha za UG-TZ pipeline sahii ungenyamazisha watu lakini bado uko kwa makaratasi tu, Po! here is an example oof how you do it, the construction of phase 1 20inch refined Oil pipeline from Mombasa-Nairobi is 74% complete View attachment 473643 View attachment 473644

ati 20 inches is that a water pipe? Globally Standard oil pipelines r 24 inches n above

South sudan has Sub-Sahara biggest oil reserves after Nigeria and Angola and this is the pipeline that Sudan Uses to export more than 200K barrels of crude oil a day... look at the diameter? is it that bigger than the kenyan one pictured before?
So yes, Capacitywise its that big ? it costed $350Million from Mombasa to Nairobi....

the only difference between ours and yours (apart from the nature of the content bieng transported) is that our project is already on the ground while yours is still on the drawing board...
Mtwara-Dar pipelines r way bigger n modern than urs! And built at record time

NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 18 – Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) has invited companies to tender for construction of Kisumu oil jetty.
The move has set the pace for the construction of the jetty that is expected to begin in March 2017 and will take six months.
The construction of the oil jetty is expected to safely transportation of petroleum product through Lake Victoria to the neighbouring countries giving the country a competitive edge in the region as the leading oil transporter.
The Jetty is expected to boost throughput in Kisumu by one million litres a year in phase 1 and up to 3 million litres per year by 2028.
KPC’s Managing Director, Joe Sang said the Sinendet-Kisumu Pipeline (Line 6) operationalized in April 2016 now ensures ample petroleum product volumes is available in the Western Kenya region and the export market of Uganda, Eastern DRC, Rwanda, Burundi, and Northern Tanzania.
“Construction of the Jetty is now commercially feasible following completion of Line 6 which has increased product flow to Kisumu depot by 350,000 litres per hour from the previous 110,000 litres per hour,” said Sang.
According to Sang said the new line will turn Kisumu into a focal point of oil and gas commerce in the region through safe transportation of fuel across the lake using properly certified barges and ships.

What impressed me mostly is that thing is not Tanga or DSM, neither Mtwara.
But Somewhere Kyela.. To link Tz, Malawi & Mozambique. We r still doing fine.
One of three ready, nyingine mbili zinafanyiwa finishing

Not bad. But do not compare it with Kenya, SECO are churning out Machines nearly monthly

When you guys are done you will be exporting crude oil through tanga then importing it through Kenya as refined petrolium products, what a waste
Kwanini unasema watakuja Kenya, is Uganda not working on its own Kabale refinery? Is Tanzania not working on its own $30 billion gas plant? ......$30 billion, half of Kenya GDP.

The https://jamii.app/JFUserGuide...kwani hiyo plant iko nini. You can transform your country in so many ways with that money. $30BN for a gas plant?

Do you have any faintest idea how much it cost to build natural gas plant? Gas has to be processed (converted into liquid form) before been sold to the customers. $ 30 billion is nothing in natural gas business.

For a country with the size of TZ (economically speaking) to pump $30 Billion in a single project is way too risky.

That would mean borrowing an amount that will drive their debt over the edge. It would also mean that its the aingle infrastructural project the government undertakes.

Remember that even with a larger budget than that of TZ, the most expensive project undertaken in Kenya is the sgr, at around $3.2 Billion.

Also i don't see how a gas plant would cost $30 billion. Even the International Space Station didnt cost that much.

..unles you are gearing yourselves for the single largest corruption scandal of all time....in the whole world.

What I would do with ksh 3trn, definitely not spend it on one thing, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa.
And it is a plant, its initial employment capacity is not likely to grow, machines run themselves under observations of few people. But you probably have it all figured out, am just learning of this today.

Kitu kimoja unasahau ni products zote zinazotokana na natural gas. Kama ni kazi zitazalishwa na all those products ambazo zinatokana na natural gas. Nadhani ni 1000+. From nguo to bottles to TV fridges tires mbolea and more and more.... Its a massive industry na hakuna nchi dunini yenye viwanda vikubwa hawatumi natural gas as part of their raw material, directly or indirectly.

Another idiot talking to a country having around 100 Tcf! Ati it is too risky see ur FDI n compare to Tanzania's to understand why less than $1 bln while Tanzania's is above $ 2 bln n to determine why u lost Uganda's pipeline to Tanzania as far as risk subject is concerned!
