Tundu Lissu is making the most of his incident. He is going to the international community. But what is Tundu Looking for?

Is he looking for sympathy? Is he looking of support?or asylum?

To me personally,I am of the opinion that Lisu's ordeal might bring bad luck upon him.He may become a puppet which I believe was not his goal

The west is looking at Tanzania. They know something is wrong somewhere and they are looking for a horse to back

They will not back Lissu because they care about him,or about us.They are actually in the hunt for a puppet and the attention they are giving him now is to feed his ego while understanding his personality. At the end of it all they will decide if Lissu is worth a bet.

They need to know if Lissu is a hardliner or a blabber or megalomaniac. In any case they only need him for their own purpose.

Magufuli has proven to be a trouble maker, ineffective and unpredictable. These qualities are not desirable in the west. The question is will Lissu be better off then Magufuli in the eyes of the westerners?

If you go back to the previous interview with BBC you will notice that Tundu Lissu made a mistake which will cause the west to rally around him not because they love him but because he has shown that he can be controlled

The questions which he was asked as simple as they were did not reveal him as a true leader,a patriot or a hero instead he appeared to be seeking attention, sympathy and yet he was not strategic.

He did not stick to the facts instead he showed them his weak spots

My suggestions

TUNDU stop this TOUR of YOURS unless you are read to take the bull by the horn and you have an Agenda that is clear and to the point. If you do not,you will be taken for a joy ride and after the ride, the west might decide to support you to become a president while you are personally not ready, physically or mentally

All in ALL the interview was good and it put most key issues in perspective to some extent
I remain to be corrected

Those qualities you've mentioned they are not desirable to us either, not only to the west. From the question you've asked and the article you've written about Lissu, it's clear that you know him for a while, and for my opinion Lissu has been the most patriotic person before he even get into politics, and he has proved to be the same guy contrary to the expectations of many that he may change due the attack that happened to him.

He is letting the world to know what his heart holds deep from his spirit, that is to say he’s not showing off himself ready to be Uncle Tom.

To shorten answers he’s telling the world that Tanzanians are passing in the shadow of death, there those who die and those who are safe for God’s sake.
Infact majority of Tanzanians are unhappy, because of insecurity, lack of politicians sincerity, the group of unknown witch hunt.
Our leaders have become misleaders because they say freedom to mean not to be asked any hard questions.

All what you have said, are your perception based on your ego but sometimes ego digress or wander in the bush.

Lissu is a clear indication what kind of politics especially opposition are forcing on us, zero fact, zero answers to real problem, and lack of patriotism. Once your a leader even in opposition, you should know that your part of governing body, You need to learn to behave like government in waiting.

Will you be patriotic after being shot several times and left with historical scar in your body?

Not only that but also there no intensive investigation and you overhear that the cameras that recorded the events are removed?
Worse enough the government do not need to execute justice on your side will you still be patriotic?

May you will be an oblivious pretender.

Hapa ili Lissu arudi inabidi bunge lilipe deni lote kubwa la matibabu yake kuanzia Nairobi hadi Belgium ndiyo Lissu atafanikiwa kukwea pipa na kurudi TZ tumpokee kama tunavyopokea ndege zetu.

I would like someone who believe that Lissu was wrong to answer the questions the way he answered them during hardtalk show to put himself in Lissu's position and give us at least three right answers out of the questions asked by the show presenter!

Why did you ask him to stop, he has to proceed until the mission is accomplished. Being a patriot or puppets the circumstances will decide.

poor minded Africans, always believing that westerners have some evil agenda against them! if the westerners wanted to wipe us out they would in in just one week. If they wanted to control us for their benefits they would. You are living surrounded by western technologies and even your life depends on their medicines, your so called 'security' is their depreciated junk, but still complaining that they are ploting against you, sometimes they just want to help!

But you're doing the same mistake Lissu has been doing all this time, assuming that his enemy is the his been poking all along. But what if he's wrong, what if his enemy is within his own circle (and am not implying that is true). Lets out that on one side, Lissu is a lawyer, he's very much aware where to go and find justice if he feels that someone is not paying attention. How could investigators even start to investigate without his cooperation, he's a citizen of this country, he's under the constitution of this country, the constitution doesn't work out there, it works within our borders.
