What is it about him that they don't like?

What is it about him that they don't like?

Happy Friday JF massive.

To those of you in the anti-Magufuli brigade who are chagrined that what you had hoped for and prayed about didn’t pan out, maybe better luck next time.

To those of you in the ‘resistance’ who relished in peddling calumnies about the demise of the president and now have egg all over your faces, I say keep ya head up 😉.

To the 'woke' vocal [online] minority who oppose everything Magufuli, what is it exactly that you don’t like about him or about what he is doing?

I say a vocal minority because I believe the silent majority out there is with him.

It’s hard for me to wrap my head around the notion that someone who is putting it all on the line to make things better for the people, can be strongly disliked by a majority of the very people he is fighting for. It can’t be. It just can’t be.

Now, I get it. I get that maybe his style is not everyone’s cup of tea.

At times he can be belligerent, minacious, and often times speaks in a hectoring manner.

I’ll give him a pass.

He gets frustrated just like many of us do when we don’t get what we expect to get.

Here’s an anecdote.

A couple years ago I had some probate issues that I had to take care of at the primary and district court level.

It wasn’t complicated or anything. It was just a matter of obtaining a couple signatures from the clerk of court and the magistrate and I’d be done.

But man oh man. I was given the run-around like nobody’s business. Comeback tomorrow because so and so is out today. Next day yo go you’re given some other lame excuse and asked to come back tomorrow. And it goes on and on until you pay up [some bribe].

After a week of going and coming back, eventually I had it up to here and almost flipped some tables in that courtroom.

When they realized that I wasn’t there to play around, they tended to my issue ‘expeditiously’ [like TI likes to put it].

Now, who can tell me had I not gone ape-shit I would have gotten my documents in a timely manner without having to offer some bribe?

Here comes a guy who wants to drastically change what some may contend had become the norm, and you are out there trying your hardest to oppose him but yet you’re the first one to complain about how terrible things are!!

Doesn’t make sense to me.

Yes, you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. But I’ll tweak that a little bit.

You repel more flies with vinegar than with honey if you want to clean something up.

You can’t drastically change a rotten system with a namby-pamby approach. It ain’t gonna work.

If in the process of being tough you make a few honest mistakes here and there, so be it. It's not the end of the world. They can be corrected.

I expect a lot of frothing at the mouths of the usual suspects. I also pretty much know exactly what you will counter with.

Just bring it.

I due respect your naive, illogical, self centred opinions and a very hocused terms which lack imperical meaning.

Let me admit something here: I really like our President, I do appreciate what he is doing for our country, I was in pain when those rumours were circulating about his ill health. I also wish him all the best and pray to God that nothing bad befalls on him. I would also like to see that he completes 10 years as a president. What I hate the most and detest with all my soul is when people like you want to make an Angel out of him. Some of you who ignores bad "small" things at the expense of good "big" things. For God's sake, the man is not an angel! and if people criticize him, let them be. Let him learn from his mistakes, let him know that there are a lot of things still need to be done. I'm afraid if you keep on praising him and ignore those "small" things, you'll make Hitler out of him, because that is what the Germans did to Hitler and he got carried away

The moment you induce in the word "but" or kinda of "but" in paragraph, hello, just know for sure you have nullified everything in previous wordings. So cut long short, I mean, the whole writings as per above would have fitted in one sentence goes like as in below:

"I don't like Magufuli because you guys you tend to make him angel."

Which methodology did you use to collect your data?

Plus his massive failure in everything, since he was in the office.

BINAFSI. Nampenda Sana Magu ila kuna baadhi ya vitu ananikera mpaka baaasi.
Kaua demokrasia, vyama vimekufa imebakia CCM peke yake.
Wabunge wote wa CHADEMA wana kesi.
Sugu alifungwa akiwa hana hatia.

He's done so much harm than good

Good can't come on tramping on the constitution, respecting it when it suits you and throwing it away when it doesn't.

Bulldozing down people's houses even under the court order to stop that operation, this disrespect of court decision shows how far this person can go to feed his ego at the expense of peoples rights.

Abductions of people, some dissappearing for good, and some shot in a broadday light, no investigations whatsoever

He is unfair and unjust, he's ruling without respecting the constitutional rights of other political entities, harrasing, disturbing and limiting other political parties from effectively utilizing their constitutional rights to assemble and do politics Unlike CCM which has been left to enjoy all benefits doing what a political party is supposed to do!

He's trying to build a dictatorial system of which the parliament and judiciary are just tools of convenience to the dictator, the ban of live broadcasting of the parliamentary sessions while he himself is the only one receiving live broadcasts even on to small matters of presidential swearing in normal appointees speaks volumes about this issue.

He is doing some projects without regard to laws of procurements, he had bought jets without parliamentary approval, this kind of behaviour may entail a grandiose corruption.

He's himself not that clean, buying politicians to switch sides, then using hard earned taxpayers money to make new elections and then make these sellouts win re-elections. Such a disrespect of electoral process, the disrespect of tax payers money, the disrespect of peoples times surely make someone wonder, how can you like such a person who orders or tolerate that grandiose corruption and then praise that person just because he went to a public office for a certain service and be timely served?

He's a bully, publicly unjustly belitlling people, stripping people of their dignity. He talked shit to prople of Kagera, who were in need of Comfort after the earth quake only to receive rebuke from the supposedly "comforter in chief".
He is a braggadart, full of himself, how dare he tell us so little was done in the past 60 years compared to what he's accomplished in 4 years?, That's insanely ridiculous

He's ruining peoples lives due to his tit for tat stubbon decisions, He's caused so much pain, and hard time to cashewnuts farmers due to his reckless, dubious, unwise decisions. And instead of apologising, he's shifting blames to others.

He's inconsistent, cherry picker and egoist, he's done an operation to find out education certificate forgers but he hasn't done that to the army, the police force and those who he has personally appointed, what does this mean?, He is interested in minimizing the wage bill so that he go build those things he loves to build but he doesnt touch people who protect his own power or who he himself wants to work with even though they are bound by law to have a clean sheet on the information they provide about their background.

Those are few reasons why the dude is hated, I personally don't like him either, I will never shed a tear when he's gone or naturally meet his fate. I can't cheer such a man who's brought so much tears to the people just because he's built some roads or bridges or anything. Those things can still be built without necessarily breaking human rights, rule of law and treating others with dignity.

Said the then future, now past minister.

I was musing with a cuz in Switzerland. I wanted to verify something that the media just couldn't cover in depth. His pops was in the highest echelon of the government leadership.

So I posed my question, hoping for some dinner table anecdotes and tidbits.

I was like, why wasn't this done so we could take advantage of that?

Cuz was like "Kiranga, you chillin in Gotham? I was like "hell yeah, like a villain".

He was like, you got your papers straight and all that jazz?

I was like, yeah, papers and paper.

He was like, forget about Tanzania and its politics. It will only drive you nuts. Focus on your life, get your mulla, forget Tanzania.

I was like, duh. This guy must know so much from his longtime access to power. For him to say that, something must be seriously wrong.

But I couldn't swear off Tanzanian politics.

Either I am some kinda patriot, or a glutton for punishment.

Magufuli is simply a country bumpkin.

The guy can't even talk gracefully.

Can you wholly not have anything to do with Tanzania?

Flaws and all, the motherland will always have a special place in me.

Didn't have any say so with where I was born.

Will be hard for me to have one about where I'll die.

But I can instruct those who I'll leave behind to bring me full-circle and lay me to rest in the soil from whence I came.

Ukishasema "I believe" tayari ishakua uganga wa kuagua!

Hii "hate" inawasumbua sana mpaka mnaandika articles!

Kama ni kitu minor msinge sumbuka kwa lolote to begin with!

That lunatic ia hated, and he is hated for a reason!

This is a political scientific problem na sio una li-trivialize namna kienyeji enyeji!

Hii kitu inawapa horror in your eyes!
