Cry my beloved country, so the saying goes...this country is so rotten it smells like high heaven. It is no wonder that all those, that can never ever see beyond their noses, will be applauding this illusion. This is not the first time and wont be the last, this regime is so predictable and its sycophants so loyal that they will believe anything thrown at them even the most absurd! As Tanzanians, is something wrong with our genes? Have we lost all sense of right and wrong? How are we different from zombies or puppets that can cannot ever think or reason?
- It is only in Tanzania where the President can spend one third of his time in office traveling around the globe like a tourist and this act doesnt raise an eyebrow.
- It is only in Tanzania where first responders to traffic accidents rob the victims instead of offering help and this cruel and inhuman act is considered as normal.
- It is only in Tanzania where a top government leader can order the police to attack and beat (to death?) those he alleges to be law-breakers and still be in office.
- It is only in Tanzania where...I could go on and on but what's the use, we appear doomed for we are stuck with the the Kikwetes, the Mwakyembes, the Kinanas, the Sembes, the Mwigulus, the Napes...the list is so long it is hard to believe there is anybody left out. Have we all accepted our fate?
