The United States has bunker-busting bombs that can "shut down, set back and destroy" Iran's nuclear program, and the military option has not been taken off the table when it comes to the ongoing negotiations with that country, according to Defense Secretary Ashton Carter.

"I believe the Iranians know that and understand that," Carter told CNN Friday, stressing that the Obama administration prefers handling the issue of Iran's nuclear weapons potential diplomatically, rather than through military means, "because military action is reversible over time."

The technical name for the powerful weapons Carter referenced is the Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP), which can explode 20 feet underground and destroy deeply buried and fortified targets, and those weapons are ready for use, he said.

Carter's reference to MOPS is the first made about specific military planning against Iran's fortified underground facilities, reports The Jerusalem Post.

At one of the facilities, Fordow, 20 percent enriched medium-grade uranium is produced, and Iran's government insists it will only be used for civilian purposes. However, other countries fear that the uranium could be further enriched to 90 percent, The Post reports, which would be the amount needed to make material that can be weaponized.

Meanwhile, Carter also told CNN on Friday that any deal the United States and its allies make with Iran will include direct inspection of the country's nuclear facilities, as it must be based on verification and not trust.

On Thursday, though, Iran's Supreme Leader --------- Ali Khameni said through Twitter that "unconventional inspection" would not be an acceptable part of the deal:

He also tweeted that he is "neither for nor against the deal."

Carter also indicated in Friday's interview that Iran and North Korea could be working together, as they have collaborated in the past.

"In fact, North Korea worked with Syria, helped it build a reactor... North Korea is a welcome all-comers kind of proliferator," Carter said.

However, he said that Iran doesn't need North Korea "to teach them nuclear physics. They know plenty of it in Iran."

Carter also discussed another U.S. priority in the Middle East: the ongoing fight to contain and control the Islamic State, and said he "would not hesitate" to advise putting boots on the ground, but "we are not at that point yet."

President Barack Obama is open to advice and analysis, Carter said, but that does not mean "when any of us makes a recommendation, he will accept."

But ISIS and al-Qaida are still threats to the United States, said Carter.

"If al-Qaida was the Internet terrorists, these guys (ISIS) are the social media terrorists," he said.

Al-Qaida has been weakened through the past decade of "pounding" by U.S. forces, said Carter, but "they still have a serious preoccupation with direct attacks on the United States."

wahafidhina wameshaanza kumchangamkia Obama...
It is undeniable that the version of the nuclear agreement outlined by the Obama administration is far different from the one described by Iran's supreme leader," McCain said in a statement

hapa ndio problem inapoanzia-
> Iran wouldn't allow unlimited inspections.

Obama also renewed his complaints about the 47 Republican senators who sent a letter to Iran's leaders saying that any deal the Iranians made with the U.S. wouldn't necessarily hold up after Obama leaves office.

US and its so called allies should stop bluffing. The US think its so easy to Bomb Iran nuclear Facility.Bombing Iran’s Nuclear Facilities would leave the Entire Gulf States Region virtually Uninhabitable,Good-bye Dubai.

Every Spring and Summer, during a period of low pressure over the Persian Gulf, powerful winds known as the “shamals and sharqi,” sweep down from the north and north east into Saudi Arabia, whipping up ever more grains of sand as they head south and south west across the Arabian Desert. Frequently, these sandstorms become gargantuan in size – hundreds of meters high and kilometers wide and in length of dense roiling particulate, choking the lungs of those exposed, blocking out the sun completely and, by the time they are over, burying whole towns, sometimes even large cities like Riyadh, in a meter deep or more of sand.

Picture of Sandstorm hitting Riyadh Saudia 2012.

The wind speeds range from 30 to 300 kilometers per hour, and they generally take a semi-circular route, heading back out to the southern gulf and the remaining Gulf States. Indeed, on an annual basis all of the Gulf States combined – UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, suffer through literally hundreds of such sand and dust storms. And most often the winds driving those sandstorms originate from the north and north east (Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, and sometimes even Turkey).

Below is a map showing the location of Iran’s nuclear facilities and uranium mines. Now look again at the previous NASA satellite image and note the primary shamal wind direction.

Think “Fukushima x 10
Fukushima is, without question, the world’s worst nuclear disaster to date. In fact, many scientists believe, and with good reason, that the Fukushima incident, which is far from over, is the world’s worst environmental catastrophe.

“While the long-term repercussions of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster are yet to be fully assessed, they are far more serious than those pertaining to the 1986 Chernobyl disaster in the Ukraine, which resulted in almost one million deaths.

Now imagine several large nuclear reactors (Iran’s Bushehr reactor output, for example, is 1000 megawatts, compared to Fukushima Daiichi’s largest reactor which had an output of 784 megawatts), along with several uranium enrichment plants, and certainly military storage sites and quite likely even uranium mines, all bombed to dust within a matter of days. Moreover, unlike the Fukushima Daiichi reactors which suffered only partial meltdowns with much of the fuel rods and spent fuel storages remaining mostly intact, “all” of Iran’s nuclear fuel would be exploded into the atmosphere. And let us not forget that the US-Israeli military ordinances employed to destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities would certainly be tipped with depleted uranium, and very likely would include some mini-nukes.

Indeed, in regards nuclear disasters and environmental catastrophes, Fukushima would absolutely pale in comparison to that caused by the bombing of Iran’s nuclear sites. The nuclear fallout from such an event would be extreme, to put it mildly. Tens, if not hundreds of thousands of innocent Iranians would likely die within the first year of such a strike, while millions more would die within a decade or two of some form of radiation-induced cancer.

And since a significant portion of that nuclear fallout would end up either immediately, or over the course of the next weeks and months in the Arabian Desert, where the winds, year after year, would gather it up along with the particles of sand and dust into gigantic roiling irradiated storms (remember, “hundreds” of such sand and dust storms annually), not a person living anywhere in the Gulf State region would be safe from exposure. The Persian Gulf, too, would soon be so irradiated and toxic and lifeless that it might as well be renamed the New Dead Sea.

Has such absolute insanity infected the minds of the Western powers to such a degree that they actually would attack Iran, and in so doing destroy the entire Gulf State region, further irradiate the entire planet and themselves, and quite possibly set off World War III? Or is it all just smoke-and-mirrors, scare tactics and rhetoric, and saner minds will in fact prevail?

US BLUFFING BLUFFING.

if it was decided to launch even a limited strike the U.S. and its allies would risk walking into a trap. One that could easily escalate into a much, much wider conflict.
Ever since the First Gulf War, Iran has viewed Western military intervention in Iraq with a keen interest that has been sharpened by the knowledge that one day it too might face a similar fate.
As a result Iran has spent the past few decades assiduously developing its own defence industry. In that time it has made considerable headway in building up its indigenous weapons technology. To the point where there is now absolutely no comparison between Iran’s defence capability and those of Iraq under Saddam Hussein.
Having watched the opening phase of the First Gulf War, Iran has put special effort into developing an integrated national air defence network. This includes long-range over-the-horizon radars, phased array radar systems and passive radars, which don’t emit radar signals and are therefore immune to anti-radar missiles.
The effectiveness of these systems can be seen in the number of times Iran has brought down U.S. and Israeli drones in recent years. Not only were many state-of-art, like the U.S. RQ-170and an Israeli drone, thought to be the Hermes 900, but having a lower radar signature than most combat jets and cruise missiles their detection also attests to the efficiency of Iran’s radars.
Then we have Iran’s air defence missiles. We know that Iran has at least four Russian made S-300 air defence systems. It is also getting ready to field its own version of Russia’s “game-changer” air defence system, the Bavar 373, which Iran claims is even more formidable than the original S-300.
In addition to its long range air defence systems, which have an effective range of nearly 200kms and are able to track up to 100 airborne targets at once, Iran has also deployed multiple medium range air defence systems. These include the Russian made Tor missile systemand its own locally developed Raad air defence system, which has been compared with the Russian Buk..
Moreover, Iran has also deployed around its cities and nuclear installations shorter range air defence systems. Like the Russian SA-22 Greyhoundand the locally developed Mersad, Ya Zahraand the Herz-9.
Saddam Hussein had nothing like these weapons during the Gulf War.
Nor should we overlook Iran’s naval assets such as its submarines, which would undoubtedly be used against any U.S. Navy vessels in the region, such as its aircraft carriers. Iran has 3 Russian built kilo-class submarines, which are reputed to be some of the quietest submarines in service. It also has 20 or more mini-submarines capable of laying mines and firing torpedoes.

However Iran has been very quiet about its naval trump card, the locally developed Besat submarine, which is about the same size as the Israeli Dolphin andc apable of firing cruise missiles while submerged.
Nor should we forget Iran’s locally developed anti-ship missiles, which have a range of up to 200kms and can be fired from mobile coastal missile launchersor Iran’s own F4s.
All of the aforementioned weapons could be used to close off the Straits of Hormuz, which would have devastating impact on the global economy. This in turn opens the prospect of a more long-standing involvement as amphibious landings might be required to ensure the Straits remained open. Thereby risking a wider escalation of the conflict.
Moreover, none of this takes into account how Iran might retaliate with its surface-to-surface missiles against U.S. bases in the region, including Afghanistan where there are still more than 10,000 U.S. troops based. Or for that matter if it would strike at Israel.
Again Saddam Hussein had nothing like the weapons currently in Iran’s arsenal. The best he had were Russian made Scud missiles which in terms of accuracy, range and destructive power don’t compare with Iran’s indigenously developed cruise and ballistic missiles. Such as the Soumar, which with a range of 2,500 to 3,000 kilometres can easily reach Israel and U.S. bases in the gulf states.
The likely targets of any U.S. strike would not only be heavily defended, they have also been fortified and buried deep underground in anticipation of Western air strikes. So it may take more than a few days to render them inoperable, assuming that Western air power could first overcome Iran’s air defences.
Trouble is the more time involved in neutralising the designated targets the more likely Russia would be to intervene, alongside Iran

Iran to launch new submarine soon: Navy commander
By wmw_adminonApril 12, 2015
Introduction — April 11, 2015
Although Iran hasn’t specified what type of submarine will be launched, it will probably be a Besat submarine. Sometimes referred to as a Qaem, the Besat is a medium sized submarine comparable to the Israeli Dolphin.
The first Iranian Besat was launched in 2013 and after undergoing sea trials it entered service earlier this year. A second submarine of this class was scheduled to be launched before the end of this year. So the submarine to be launched soon is likely to be a Besat. Although little publicised, the Besat is thought to be one of the most advanced submarines in Iran’s fleet and is capable of firing cruise missiles as the video from naval exercises in February (below), shows.
Iran to launch new submarine soon: Navy commander
Press TV — April 11, 2015
Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari says the Islamic Republic will soon launch a new domestically-manufactured submarine.
Sayyari said Saturday that Iran is also working on a new destroyer and expressed hope that the vessel would join the Navy by the end of the current Iranian year (March 19, 2016).
He added that the new destroyer features a variety of new military equipment and weapons.
In recent years, Iran has made major breakthroughs in its defense sector and attained self-sufficiency in producing important military equipment and systems.
Iran has so far launched different classes of domestically-built advanced submarines including Fateh, Ghadir, Qaem, Nahang, Tareq and Sina.
The Islamic Republic has also manufactured different types of destroyers.
The Iranian Navy launched its first domestically-built destroyer, Jamaran, in the Persian Gulf in February 2010. The 1,420-ton destroyer is equipped with modern radar systems and other electronic warfare capabilities. It also features highly advanced anti-aircraft, anti-surface and anti-subsurface systems.
In March, another domestically-made destroyer, Damavand, officially joined the Navy’s fleet in the Caspian Sea north of the country. The state-of-the-art destroyer is equipped with modern radar, electronic and reconnaissance systems.
Iran has repeatedly assured other nations, especially its neighbors, that its military might poses no threat to other countries, insisting that its defense doctrine is based on deterrence.

Especially powerful army. Iranian soldiers are so obese.. They enjoy good time.
USA has got Nukes that can turn Iranian soil into ashes.

USA fought numbers of military operations for more than 20 Years. Us army is full of experience,

Iran is still under sanctions. USA army is patrolling preventing Iran from conducting business in the ghulf. Iran never attack those western army. The only thing iran have done so far is to keep bitching.
Don't make an impression that Iran is going to win a
