I appreciated the assessment becauseI saw some signs but not in everything mentioned above. When it comes to "showing emotions" I'm guilty. I tend to have a straight face on somethinch which another person might scream about.
I'm also observant and attentive....this makes me think that I can read peoples' minds (LOL) ....I don't know...
I keep things that bother me to myself and try to find solutions internally.....this makes me depressed sometimes......May be if I shared some of these inner kept feelings....I could get some kind of relief....well...

About "self destruction"....It ain't gonna happen....I got a wife and two kids....and I love them dearly....I want to be there for them....and enjoy life together with them....

Sorry naimaomari, are you suggesting s/he should change her/his personality? Kwa maoni yangu, kila mmoja wetu atajikuta ana-fit kwenye moja ya hizo personality type hapo juu na mara nyingine nusu ya personality mojawapo na nusu kwenye nyingine.
Kuhusu assessment yako, naamini ni kazi bure kujaribu kubadili personality yako ifanane na jamii ambavyo ingependa, kwanza sio rahisi na pili haina maana. Haina maana kwa sababu utakuta weak character ya mtu wakati mwingine ndiyo inamfanya aweze kukabiliana na challenges au asonge mbele na akubalike kwa wengi (Kikwete?). Japo inaweza ikamkwaza kwenye nyanja tofauti.
Mimi kwa mfano, moja ya weakness zangu ni perfectionism. It slows me down sometimes maana huwa nahangaika na details ndogo ndogo. Is perfectionism always a bad thing? Nope!
Extreme perfectionism inaweza kukuletea matatizo kwenye mahusiano na watu hasa wanaopenda mambo yaende kwa speed. Cha muhimu ni kutafuta balance uweze ku-fit in. I don't think it is proper to force someone who is reserved and hardly shows emotions to be an out-going type. Labda yeye mwenyewe aamue kufanya hivyo.
Mimi huwa napenda kukaa nyumbani tofauti na wengine wasiopenda kabisa. Mtu wa namna hii unaweza kumshauri afuge mbwa, heheheh...!
Ni wakati gani basi mtu ajaaribu kurekebisha character?
Ningeshauri mtu ahangaike kurekebisha character ambayo iko kwa kiwango cha juu kuliko ilivyo kawaida. Extreme/explosive anger kwa mfano. Ila lengo lisiwe kuiondoa completely kwa sababu kuna sababu nzuri zilizopelekea huyu kuwa nayo. Kama haimkwazi na wala haikwazi wengine, kuna faida gani kuhangaika kuibadilisha?
Kuna watu wanayajua haya mambo, if you give him a list of your weak characters, he will know your strength areas. Why do you think this is the case; just think.
