THE UNIVERSITY OF DODOMA (UDOM) SHINES
The University of Dodoma has shined during the 2nd Tanzania Women Engineers Convention and Exhibition (TAWECE) 2016, held in Dar es Salaam, today, August 12, 2016. Miss Nadia Kahyoza from the College of Informatics and Virtual Education, CIVE, while representing other project members, presented her Computer Engineering Final Year Project titled "RENTED HOUSE POWER DISTRIBUTION CONTROLLING SYSTEM (RHPDCS)" to Women Engineers and emerged as SECOND WINNER. Nadia received a trophy for securing this position.
The Exhibition was opened by the Vice President Hon. Samia Suluhu Hassan who has insisted women engineers to make Special campaigns to inspire girls to take into Science and Mathematics subjects so that Tanzania can increase the number of girls becoming Engineers.
