Ubuntu phone, Android phone or Google ideos

I'm looking for a phone installed with ubuntu os, if there are any in Tanzania shops, or Google ideos, the best most recent. I like sumsung galaxies but not for now.

Can someone recommend any phone which falls under the above categories? What is the price? Any advice from real experience? Where can I get one of these stuffs in Dar Es Salaam?

classics Ubuntu OS on a phone is but an idea, nay a concept. there have been ports of Ubuntu Mobile on several phones and tablets like the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, SG3 and Galaxy Note but these are only developer previews and are full of crashes/ missing support. mpaka hapa tulipo, hamna an existing fully operated Ubuntu Mobile OS Smartphone. regards, leh

Unaweza jaribu kudownload na kurun ubuntu kwenye phone yako kama vile tunavyotumia Windows phone along side Android OS. Ukiwasha cm itakuuliza whether to use the default OS or Ubuntu. Ila kwa sasa kama alivyosema LEAH ni review not full App.

Correction..the Current Developer Preview of Ubuntu OS is not 'ported' but built from ground up for ARM architecture. And as u said its available in a handful of Google devices...but I would advice the OP if he is in a low budget he should go with the low-to-mid range Galaxy series...Ace.,Y,Pocket and the likes...or even TECNO N3 its a suprisingly solid android device!!

Please tell me how you can run Windows Phone alongside Android....and NO,You can't currently dual boot Ubuntu for phones,tablets...not until some smart guy at XDA can figure it out..

Nikiwasha inaniuliza aidha kulaunch Windows phone ama kupitia default ie Android. Pia nimedownload Ubuntu for Android phone ila yenyewe inafunguka kama Application ya kawaida. Its a Launcher that's what you are using....kama ilivo Go Launcher,Apex,Nova,etc..I guess u are new to Android realm.
 
Kwa sasa hakuna simu ambayo ni rasmi inatumia ubuntu na imeshaingia madukani, kwa hiyo si rahisi kuipata popote hata Ulaya au Marekani. Ila unachoweza kufanya ni ku-install ubuntu kwenye simu kama vile Galaxy Nexus. Lakini ukweli ni kwamba ubuntu kwa sasa haifai kwa sababu haina apps kabisa, na imejaa bugs, unless kama unataka kuijaribu tu, kwa vile ubuntu iliyotoka ni developers version kwa ajili ya wanaotaka kutengeneza apps.

Kwa ushauri wangu Kama unatafuta simu kwa matumizi ya kawaida basi ubuntu kwa sasa sio simu, laa kama "gadget freak" na unataka kuijaribu tu, basi install kwenye simu na kuitoa ni rahisi tu na unarudishi stock Os ilikuwa nayo awali, ila usike kusahau ku-backup.

Are you serious or you are just kidding? May be you are talking about themes?
 
Few months ago, it was announced that ubuntu operated phone would have been launched by now, I will follow-up to see what the progress is. Thank you all contributors.

Mkuu ina maana hiyo tecno n7 hapa tz haipatikani kama ipo na bei unaifaham please inform me

sema na specs ndo zinapitwa na wakati soon zitakua hazina maana. ram ya 1gb its okay bado latest ila processor ya 1ghz inaanza kua outdated sidhani kama itahandle key lime pie
