Nissan Patrol ilipewa nguvu ya VK56VD (5.6-litre) V8 na 400 hp (298 kW) pamoja na 560 N·m (410 ft·lbf), ikiwa na mfumo mpya kabisa wa "VVEL" Variable Valve Event and Lift na "DIG" gasoline direct injection, pamoja na gia saba automatic. Uko sahihi sana mkuu,hili swala la kuogopa spare kwa gari za Nissan ni very psychological,ila ukweli ni kuwa wana gari nzuri sana nadhani kuna mahali kwenye soko wanafanya makosa ndio maana Toyota wanawapa shida sana kwa nchi kama Tanzania.
