Ukitumia kila kimoja hapo list yako ya nchi maskini 100 itabadilika kulingana na kigezo. Kumbuka JF ni uwanja wa great thinker hizo copy na kupaste zinaweza kukudharaulisha kama huweki nyama.

China 79? You must be kidding dude! FYI, Currently China is the second largest economy after USA. China has already overtaken Japan. Your raking is showing China among the poorest country. Dude go back to the drawing board. Not everything written in the internet/website are TRUE. There are relliable and unreliable sources, I bet your source in among those unreliable!
 


Bobuk It doesn't matter whether China is ranjed number 79 or number 500, what is amazing is Tanzanian position globally at number 21 that is miserable and pathetic with all these richness in mineralrs and other natural endowment. So it is upon other Great Thinkers in the Jamiiforums to contribute on the article.
 
libya is not in the list, but can u compare libya and china in every sense??? Who is the creator of the list? What are the criteria?? What is the role of informal sector?? World has 200+ nations, so the list could also read reachest nation from 101, 102...there is no absolute measure of rich/poor, it depends on so many complex factors including the culture and history.
Assume for example a Rwandan village has access to basic education, hospital and all weather road and year round organic food, the society is happy and no one is thinking of raising multimillion dollar in stock market which i consider as sort of unreal economy in the sense that people trade numbers and papers more like gambling,
where as in new york ppl are considered rich because they have million shares in stock market...again they have access to the basic plus they have two cars for pollution and they hit gym bse they eat disproportionate..analyst would say rwanda is poor bt yet rwanda is nt affected by recession! Smtm we need to tailor what we call porverty/richness to match the society culture

All the mumbo jumbo we hear about the wall street riches and stocks is just on paper, we tend to follow whatever the west say but the truth is most African countries are not that poor. If we create our own metrics to define what poverty/riches is, based on our surroundings and culture we can come up with a new measure that will be totally different from what we have been conditioned to believe in. Most of those middle class in the suburb who own stocks don't really own land, they live on credit card and mortgage payment, they own nothing but fiat money all they do is keeping up with the Joneses, yet they think the are better than some local African who goes to sleep without worrying about paying the bills.

This could be possible. there is a huge gap between the government wealth and the population wealth. but then again, it all depend on the criterion used for "rich" and "poor". I live in the top 5 and I can tell you that you wouldn't notice poverty until u look for it. In the same way, more than a thousand hundred person live in the subways of Newyork (I just heard it, source needed). All in all, I think they talk about the number of person living under the "poverty line". if it is 100 000 000 in china, it put them amongs the poorest country despite the fact that 1 900 000 000 live over that line. there is no logic.
