bcoz I'm told that their primary responsibility is to collect and handle collected info to the Head of state, further more their role is to advance Tanzania chief comforter and nothing else.

Kwanza ningependa kueleweshwa Tiss ni idara inayoshughulika na ulinzi wa viongozi au na mambo mengine..? ni heri ikafahamika bayana kuliko kupoteza muda wetu kupiga zogo hapa kwa kitu tusichokijua kiundani!,maana hivi vitu vinaenda na sheria kama hawajaruhusiwa kisheria basi TISS si wa kulaumiwa kama mfikiriavyo.

As far as I am told their role is to advice the Government of the day. If the recipientof whatever does not ACT as per their advice or recommendation, It becomes therefore NONE of their business
As far as Katiba is concerned they are not an enforcement agency.as per se.

They are supposed to put on halt whatever jeopardizes the country from outside or within, even by using dark art.

All nations are built by heroes

Heroes who agree to be at the sideline of history.Fallen heroes whose name and praises can never be celebrated.People whose identity shall go into oblivion.

I am looking at the Tanzanian Intelligence Agency with their marvel and outstanding performance and I am left with only one question....What is their role in whatever is going on now.

Yes.As a nation we are at the point where everything is not what it is nor what it seems to be and people need answers to questions that should never have been asked in the first place.

My question today is on the role of our security machineries in the current political conondrum

Politics over everything, that is our biggest night mare!

In other countries, security argencies serve their nations (the people), while in our country they serve the government (under a political party).

Our big boys will trace you out from the surburbs of the northern zone or from the peripheral of the southern regions, just for criticizing the ruling party. Meanwhile, they have no interest in the corrupt mineral contracts that leave our country with nothing!

Last time i heard the president complaining that the capitalists have taken over our gas from Mtwara, yet we are made to believe that our intelligence argency is among the best in Africa!

From RICHMOND, ESCROW and the like, one can learn that the people we should rely on do nothing but protecting our biggest enemies (corrupt leaders).

It is such a big shame that these guys won't even give us a little evidence to take these barbarian thieves to the court. Yet, they want our trust!

My patriotism and love for this country keeps deteriorating day after day, and i put all the blame on these guys.

Keep it up TISS, you guys are doing a great job for the country!

In Tanzania the role of security agency such as TISS remain in shadow of politician.All their activities must go together with rulling party.Thats not good because some issue is done to favour the rulling party.Not for national benefit.Issue of loss and abduction and attack of some people in Tz had to be investigated by this body.But for now almost nothing goes on.

It must reach a time when we should refrain from discussing this important state organ in public. Their modus Operandi doesn't allow them to share what they know in public and in that case, we will always be left with unmet curiosity even if we happen to live for 200 years.
