This is so embarassing

There can never be good intention in demeaning your language and uplifting other people's culture through their language. When whites speak poor swahili, do we demean them? This is what is called being brain washed. I think education whether western or whatever should give you the ability to discern truth from lies and propaganda in an attempt to potray other cultures as superior/inferior to others. Unfortunately this is not true in your case.

Developed countries have a big deal of economic benefits to offer to us than what we have to offer to them. We have a lot to gain from knowing their language, than what we have to lose. In comparison, they have so little to gain from knowing to speak swahili.

Remember, economic influence determines the superiority of your culture ( language )

not relataed to the topic,,,our language Kiswahili is never a formal language
Formal language or informal language... Naomba kuelewesha hapa!! Kwa uelewa wangu kwenye lugha rasmi yoyote ina hivyo vitu viwili...

Hakuna lugha rasmi yenye informal language. Ila lugha zote zina formal and informal languages

This is typical of a colonised mind. Recently, we had a high level state visit from Vietnam, a country that now prides itself of steady economic growth. To achieve this, did they abandon their language? Vietnam, China, Russia, Singapore are just a few examples of countries that put their language first and the rest is history. So, your arguement still lacks validity.

You either stick to reality or dwell on your delusional thinking

Your kind of reality is twisted based on your skewed thinking favoring your masters while leaving your mother land dying. You are no different from the corrupt who dont care what happens to the rest as long as their interests are taken care of.

You are the devil's advocate.

I believe reality applies to all, but this your kind of reality that only applies to Tanzan
You are the devil's advocate.
Call me any name you want but i believe that is an indication of end of your points. I believe in my country being self reliant including not being an agent of western culture and i am not apologetic about that. In conclusion, your position that, good education means speaking good English is pathetic and shows the level of ignorance on your part as someone who claim to have been educated. pole sana.

To put it a nutshell, my key point is," knowing formal English is so useful to a scholar"

Mkuu umesema ukweli mtupu.

Je barua, ripoti nyingi huw a zinawekwa kwenye lugha gani?

Hapa sio swala la EITHER OR bali ni BOTH. Kwanini mtu usijikite kwenye zote mbili.

Kumbe bado mpo mnaojivunia kiinglish?

We right here. The idea still endures as a timeless symbol of the usefulness of knowing the language. Knowledge is always not obsolete
