Thika Highway ($360mln) vs Kibaha Highway ($65 mln)

Magufuli is on another level, Even if you personally hate him, you cannot argue with his infrastructure development projects.
In just 3 years, he has done what kibaki and Uhuru have done in 20 years. Its almost impossible to count the number of projects he is doing, from SGR, superhighways, airports, ATCL planes, Bagamoyo, Crude pipeline, gas pipeline, mega bridges,mega hydro dams

Hata kama ni kuwa sycophant , just be a bit reasonable and logical..The roads built in Kenya in the last 10yrs are more than Bongolalas can imagine... how can a small 19km road can bring all this drama. In fact highways like this one don't make news here anymore..unless when they are being commissioned. And now you are talking of roads you are planning to build vs roads we have already built.

JPM has been in power for just 3 years..Every week he is either commissioning a new road, bridge or receiving new planes. You may hate him but you cannot compare his work ethic with anyone. He has set the standard for africa

And you think we are asleep?? we know how that PR works, keeping the president in the news always busy about some project.
We have so many projects being launched or under construction here, launched by Governors, The deputy president and Ministers, such that the president only attends the biggest ones. If we open a thread for each of them there will be nothing else to discuss.
 
You still fall on the same lane...for the road built 10yrs ago this means also the cost would be low,since the construction prices increasing year to year...the same road if would be built today,the cost would be doubled..40kms road built 10 yrs ago for $365 mills it's a shame

I expect a person who has the capability of creating an account on an online forum to have some intelligence to at least say the specs of what is being built. Give the specifications of the road TZ is building and then come compare with Thika Rd. And then wait to see the complete project.. then we can talk..

Kenya is not asleep, it has reache menopause for its foreign loan funded projects..There is no more room to borrow,
even chinese who traditionaly lend with without caring whether you can pay back have stopped lending to kenya..

ha ha ha this was a directive by the president to enhance accountability and also to stop the politicization of projects, politicians have been going around claiming to re-launch projects that they are not even involved in for campaign purposes.
