Seems we stand on different angles when looking at this topic. I did not, neither the original post didn't try to compare Tanzania insecurity with the US or the rest of the world. What I was trying to let you see is the trend of crimes, their nature, the type of people targeted and alike. You being a Tanzanian should be able to see more obviously that the confidence of being secure has SHRINKED compared to yester years. It is only when we see and agree that we are in a serious trouble that we can collectively think of a way out and save our mother Tanzania.Nashukuru kwa comments zako na mtazamo wako.
My point here is CRYSTAL clear that NOTHING is shrinking. How and why did I arrive to that narrative? Here is the reason.
The issue of INSECURITY should not be blown out of proportion to the detrimental of our beloved country I'm not saying that there are none.
However those are ISOLATED incidences.
Should we COMPARE Tanzania and the USA in TERMS of INSECURITY, Tanzania is not near EVEN an inch.CRIME PRONE cities in the US are many. Like
LA,
CHICAGO
NEW YORK etc.
Your likelihood of being SHOT or MUGGED in those cities is 99.99%.
With those statistics you gotta agree with me that we are FAR FAR MUCH BETTER.
Even better than JOHANESBURG in SA.
Having said that I am not an APOLOGIST of anyone but I comment what I think is right and CREDIBLE information as far as maisha yetu yalivyo mazuri.
YES CRIMINAL acts are some of the challanges any country faces. But to SINGLE out Tanzania is UNFAIR!

It is true that it irritates to hear a neighbour commenting on strifes happening in your house, but if the wife comes out seriously injured you don't need to bark at you neighbours but rather sit down and and settle your internal weaknesses.
