When did it start?
Genesis2:18-24
18 And the Lord God said,It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make a helpmeet for him....
24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and cleave unto his wife:and they shall be one flesh.
The journey to marriage started in the beginning when God saw that it is not good for a man to be alone, It is the first institution God formed
The journey to marriage is short and temporary, but the journey within marriage is an eternal journey
You are supposed to prepare for gir the long Journey, i.e. the journey within marriage
Don't concentrate/prepare much on the shorter journey,(wedding or journey to marriage)
Many people make a mistake and prepare for the shorter journey, the wedding ceremony
Marriage is a no return ticket journey, it is a lifetime commitment.
Prepare yourself that your journey be unregretable,safe,enjoyable and happy journey
for it to be so, it must be well prepared
HOW DO WE PREPARE?
Spiritually&Physically
Spiritually:
Repent, Concentrate on the word, make sure you live a righteous life, Pray and be holy.
>Live a prayerful life
1Thesalonians5:17
pray for your marriage in future, say: I will enjoy my marriage, I will never suffer/struggle in my marriage, I will never experience a breakup, I will never die young in my marriage! That a prayers for the journey within marriage.Many People only pray to get a partner.
>Sacrifice for your marriage
Make a sacrifice and breakup all sacrifices which were put to bind your marriage, sacrifice for the journey within marriage.
Physically:
Maturity: Marriage is not for boys and girls,it for a matured man and woman
Marriage is not for making fun,marriage is about taking responsibilities
Make sure you are fit for responsibilities
be a matured personality
What do you need in the journey to marriage?

Ecclesiastes3:1
1To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven(KJV)
Why should you marry? Prove it! if you can't then you are not ready for marriage journey
<>Find a marriage partner
Prover18:22
Take time to find your partner, and start the journey together
<> Be ready to leave
Genesis2:24
If it is painfully to leave your then you are still a girl or a boy,you not ready
Mark 10:7
<>Prepare yourself for marriage
Read books on marriage, to discover what is in marriage and develop the immunity
REMEMBER: "Do not look for the perfect/right person, be the perfect/right person to be met"
