I think Microsoft is making one step forward and two steps backwards. This is especially so after they released Microsoft Windows8 in the recent past. In my own opinion, Windows7 is far much better as compared to 8. Microsoft is headed for the rocks. Mark my words.

I have first hand experience mtu nguyaz. A month after its launch, I installed it in my system, what happened next was an unecessary head ache I was subjecting myself to. It was mind bogging, probably slower than my windows7. Furthermore, it had many new unecessary features which made it even more complex. At long last, I resorted to re-install my previous version (7) which I was quite conversant with. A piece of advice maharagwe na nyama are both protein.

I use windows 8 (and now it is 8.1) and it is really fast, especially with booting time. As with anything new, it needs getting used to. Please check your computer, as it may have some issues.

kwa upande wangu cwez rudi nyuma tena hasa hili toleo la 8.1 ndo limefunika vbaya.

well i'm surprised cause to my opinion its most definitely faster than window 7, especially on booting(a lot of benchmark tests have also proved this to be true) which makes me believe you're cramming your machine which has low specs with this system and its the one letting you down NOT windows 8.Secondly, Mind Bogging? Mind bogging was the transition from windows XP to Vista and Win 7 maana UI zilikua tofauti kabisa, ila WIN7 to WIN 8 apart from the new start menu(which you can customize to look like the one in win 7 if you prefer) whats mind bogging about it? Yet again ni matter of taste maybe, you're used to win 7 hence you're resilient to change but windows 8 is definitely FASTER, LIGHT and has BETTER VISUALS than windows 7
 
Eh personally am pretty comfortable with MS-DOS on my 8 bit 8086 computer. Who needs a 64 bit monster of an OS? Count me out!

You are wrong my dear. Protein zipatikanazo Katika Maharage ni second class na za nyama ni first class. Na sio kwamba first class ni za matawi ya juu na 2nd class za maskini kama classes za kwenye vyombo vya usafiri kama ndege,n.k. Kila mtu anahitaji proteins zote 1st na 2nd class kwa kuwa zina kazi tofauti mwilini. Kwa taarifa yako mmea pekee unaoweza kukupa 1st class protein ni soya. Got it?

kwa os 8.1 still ni windows 8 kumbuka xp kuna sp1, sp2, sp3 lakini zilikua sio separate os bali updates tu.

kwa hio jina la os ni 8 na update inaitwa 8.1
 
The Task Manager alone in W8 is worth the upgrade,better memory management, faster boot times up to 8 sec on SSD,overall better performance, UEFI Bios,better multi monitor support.....people are just afraid of change in two years time you'll get used to it.
