loving windows 7 and hating windows 8(.1) is a strange phenomenon, and the chief reason for this can be extreme conservatism, dear conservatives be reminded that your lovely windows 7 desktop is also available in windows 8 and its only a click away from the new windows 8's start screen, also If the start screen is the problem then there are alot of simple workarounds to perform the old start menu tasks, and dont forget that there are even third party alternatives.
Dear conservatives just get used to these MINOR alterations, and enjoy the overall user experience.

kwa os 8.1 still ni windows 8 kumbuka xp kuna sp1, sp2, sp3 lakini zilikua sio separate os bali updates tu.

In ICT parlance a software patch is an update/ upgrade to address issues (mostly security) or introduce new features.

Just like how one would patch a leaking thatched roof.

1)windows 8 kutokana na ugeni(hasa mimi kwa siku ya kwanza kuiona/tumia) itakutoa jasho...ila kadri siku zinavosonga lazima utaizoea na kuipenda pia!!!
2)iko so fast ukilinganisha na windows 7 hasa ultimate.
3)Mwonekano wake unavutia tofauti na windows 7.
Binafsi nimeipenda na iko vizuri...
