I congratulate Rweyemamu for this appointment. What I do not understand is that, I was told Tulawaka's mine life was to the end by June this year. What is happening?
It was suppose to be close by 2010 that was open pit later they decide to go for underground where there high grade of gold. Resulute was suppose to be close 4yrs ago later they discover satellite deposit that why they still there . My friend gold is still there underground in tulawaka. They wanted to close because it was not economical do mine according to Barrick gold corp canada which they are system is to looking for huge deposit like pacua rama. When transformation was done and form new unit/company called ABG that is when system and continue mining what ever left on the ground (Underground).Lot of things going on in mining industry they cant afford to close the mine and left 2M oz of Gold underground while they have everything place to mine just because one side says its not economical.
