WAKATI mashirika mbalimbali ya binafsi ya ndege yakiongeza idadi ya safari zao nchini na mengine yakipunguza nauli kuvutia wateja, Shirika la Ndege la Tanzania (ATCL) ifikapo Januari, kuna uwezekano likabaki jina bila ndege inayoruka angani.

Akizungumza Dar es Salaam jana, Naibu Waziri wa Uchukuzi, Dk Charles Tizeba alisema ndege pekee inayofanya kazi ya ATCL ambayo ilikodishwa kutoka Afrika Kusini, mkataba wake unamalizika Januari.

Dk Tizeba aliyekuwa katika ziara ya kuangalia hali ya Uwanja wa Ndege wa Kimataifa wa Mwalimu Julius Nyerere (JNIA) Dar es Salaam, alisema pia ndege ya shirika hilo iliyopata ajali mwaka huu Kigoma bado haijatengemaa.

Kwa sasa kwa mujibu wa Dk Tizeba, wataalamu wamekwenda Italia kuangalia injini iliyokuwa imepelekwa kwa ajili ya matengenezo, ili kuiwezesha ndege hiyo kufanya kazi.

“Wataalamu wamekwenda Italia kuangalia injini ya ndege iliyopata ajali Kigoma mwaka huu, ambayo iko kwenye matengenezo ili ianze kufanya kazi,” alisema Dk Tizeba na kuongeza kuwa mipango ya baadaye ya shirika hilo imeachiwa Bodi ambayo itatoa mipango ya kuliendeleza.

Gazeti hili lilimtafuta Mwenyekiti wa Bodi ya Wakurugenzi ya ATCL, Salim Msoma kufafanua kuhusu majaliwa ya ATCL baada ya Januari, lakini simu yake iliita bila majibu.

Uwanja nao Mbali na ATCL kuwa katika hali hiyo, Dk Tizeba baada ya kuzungukia uwanja, alisema kuna tatizo kubwa la fidia za wananchi wa Kipunguni ambao wamezuiwa kufanya shughuli za maendeleo.

“Fidia imechukua muda mrefu sana, ni tatizo la msingi linalotakiwa kuisha …tathmini ilifanyika mwaka 1998 na walitakiwa kulipwa Sh bilioni saba, lakini leo hii ni mwaka 2012 watatakiwa kulipwa Sh bilioni 14 na gharama itazidi kuongezeka,” alisema Dk Tizeba huku akisema hana idadi ya wanaohitaji kulipwa.

Upanuzi wadoda Kuhusu upanuzi wa uwanja huo, Dk Tizeba alisema kampuni iliyokuwa ikijenga, ilisitisha na sasa Mamlaka ya Viwanja vya Ndege (TAA) iko katika mchakato wa kumpata mkandarasi atakayeendeleza.

“Kampuni ilikuwa katika mazungumzo kwa muda mrefu na walitoa taarifa ya kutoendelea na ujenzi … inawezekana ni suala la kushuka kiuchumi… ingawa baadaye walionesha nia ya kutaka kuendelea tena wakati ambapo TAA ilishaanza mchakato wa kumpata mkandarasi mwingine,” alisema Dk Tizeba.

Akiwa katika Kitengo cha Zimamoto uwanjani hapo, Kaimu Mkurugenzi Mkuu wa TAA, Suleiman Suleiman alisema imekuwa historia kwa Mamlaka hiyo kupata maji ya Shirika la Majisafi na Majitaka Dar es Salaam (Dawasco) katika miaka 15 iliyopita.

“Huu ni mwaka wa 15, hatuna maji ya Dawasco, lakini tuna hifadhi ya kutosha ya maji ya kisima ya lita 450,000 ambayo yameandaliwa kwa ajili ya lolote litakalotokea,” alisema Suleiman.

Legacy ya awamu ya nne hiyo...wametumia hela nyingi sana bila mafanikio yoyote kulikwamua shirika hilo. Limepoteza hela nyingi kuliko hata ule ubia na South Africa.

Nchi hii imelaaniwa perce!

Inashangaza nchi kubwa kama hii iliyojaa raslimali kedekede kukosa Shirika la ndege linaloaminika.Tuna vinchi vidogo vidogo kama Rwanda,Burundi,Kenya, Uganda kwa uchache zina mashirika ya uhakika. Lakini ukija Tanzania unakuta hakuna kitu.
Kwa akili ya kawaida tu unaweza kujiuliza iweje Shirika la Ndege binafsi kama Precision Air linafanikiwa ilhali ATCL inashindwa kujiendesha!!!Huu kama siyo ufisadi na uzezeta ni kitu gani????Nauliza tu!

Hivi kuna sekta gani ambayo hipo kibiashara za ndani ambayo inafanya kazi kwa faida na kujiendesha yenyewe bila ya kuokolewa okolewa hovyo na hela za walipa kodi?

Hivi vitu ni common kwa nchi yetu na kwakweli the problem is obvious ushabiki wetu na uteuaji wa mhusika, si kila kiongozi anafit kila secta, kuanzia makatibu, mameneja haya yote ni madhara ya uteuaji.
