3. only few companies ndio zina uza shares kwenye dse kuna kampuni kibao ambazo haziuzi
we are talking of dse and not NYSE or LSE kwenye watu wengi ambao wana trade, dar ni watu kidogo sana ambao wananunua shares

As simple as that. People can only accept shares from NICOL if and only if are traded at deep discount. Umewasikia baadhi ya wachangiaji hapa wakisema wanataka pesa zao, that means they simply want to trade their shares, however buyers are unavailable.
Kwenye mfano wa biashara ya kuuza sabuni, it was a merely construction of simple logic km nilivyosema hapo juu wenye shares wanataka kuziondoa mikononi mwao lakini nani atanunua? Ndiyo hiyo, unashares unaamini zinavalue lkn hakuna mnunuzi nawe unadai yr in business.

this is very confusing, lets wait and see.

WHY IS THIS STUFF NOT PRINTED IN TANZANIA

ANYONE KNOW WHO THE BOARD IS?

A COMPANY OFERRING INVESTMENT FOR THE PEOPLE!!! UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Tanzania’s High Court Rules Nicol’s Board Remains Suspended

By David Malingha Doya - Apr 1, 2011 2:42 PM GMT+0100

Tanzania’s High Court ruled that National Investment Co.’s board and chief executive officer should remain suspended pending a further hearing on April 14, the Capital Markets and Securities Authority said.

Nicol, as it is known, is challenging the suspensions ordered by the regulator last month over the company’s “unsatisfactory” asset portfolio. No one answered the phone at Nicol when Bloomberg called three times today seeking comment. The company also didn’t respond to e-mailed questions.

“Pending the determination of the application, the High Court has ordered that the status quo, i.e. the suspension, should continue until the matter is finally determined,” said the statement from the Dar es Salaam-based regulator.
Nicol is Tanzania’s biggest mutual fund, according to its website. The company racked up losses totalling about 10 billion Tanzania shillings ($6.66 million) after failing to invest using “acceptable investment principles,” the CMCA said in a statement on March 14.

The company also hasn’t ensured that feasibility and due-diligence have been conducted, and doesn’t involve an independent investment committee and fund manager before committing funds, the regulator said. “This has resulted in Nicol making losses and thereby denying its shareholders the opportunity to receive dividend payments,” it said.

Nicol, which began trading on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange in May 2008, hasn’t published financial statements since 2009, according to the regulator.

Ndugu,

Wenye/mwenye taarifa sahihi tafadhali tujulishe.

Najuta sana kuchangia fedha zangu kwenye NICOL. Jamaa mmoja alikuwa anaitwa Njau nadhani alituonya sana watanzania tusijihusishe na NiCOL ..... well, hakuna kitu ndugu yangu maana jamaa walitupa matumaini ya bure kumbe ni wapuuzi kupita kiasi. Nadhani tuliowekeza NICOL inabidi ifike mahali tuwapeleke mahakamani hawa akina Mosha na wenzake. Ni wasanii wakubwa

Kampuni ya NICOL (Tanzania Investments Comopany Ltd) imeondolewa (delisted from) DSE (Dar Es Salaam Stock Exchange) kuanzia tarehe 6 July 2011. Kwa mujibu wa press release ya DSE, "The DSE wishes to inform the public that as per DSE Governing Council directive issued on 31st May, 2011, the National Investments Company Limited (Nicol) has been delisted from the DSE, effective 6th June 2011."

Kampuni hajapeleka audited financial statements tokea mwaka 2009!!

kumbe kampuni iko mahututi,mwisho ikafa...

wahindi marafiki zangu waliniambia nyinyi waswahili hamuwezi
kuendesha biashara,na hiyo nicol itakufa....niliwabishia
sasa wananiambia we told you so....

nahisi kuna siri ambayo hatuijui still

Mengi kawahi kuopoa pesa walizochangia wananchi.
Wizi mtupu.
Sasa ina bidi wale waliochangia fedha NICOL wawashitaki hao wakurugenzi kama wakishindwa kurudisha amana zao.

VIGOGO hawa ndio NICO,
Watakumbukwa kwa kufeli kwa NICOL
