You have the DNA of God. The Bible tells us that we are born of God. Apostle John testified of this when he wrote:
John 1:12-13 12 But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God [emphasis added].
You are born of God! There is more to you than just cells coming together to form flesh and bones. You have the DNA of God! Not only that, but He infused your very cells, your DNA, with God stuff. The Bible says we are born of the Word.
When God said, “ Let us make man in our image, after our likeness,” it was like the DNA (God) giving an instruction (the Word, Jesus) to tell the cell (the Holy Ghost) what to create. “Let us make” was not just a statement of intention. It was the formative process of creation that communicated what was in the mind of God, and that same process was replicated in you. Divine genetics was set into motion, and He did it with His words.
God speaks. He uses words to communicate what He wants to create, and whatever He says comes into being. Since we are created in His image, we also use words to communicate what we want to create. And it goes deeper than that. Your mouth is not the only thing that speaks; your very DNA speaks. You may wonder how such a thing is possible.
