Amavubi,indeed Mr. Kagame has done a lot to improve the welfare of the Rwandese, granted.
But dont u think u guys are exaggerating his achievements a little too much?
It cant be true that up to 90% of the Rwandese are connected to electricity nor that upto 90% of the roads tarmacked.
My research indicates that only about 23% of Rwandan homes are connected to power, while there's an ambitious plan by the govt currently to connect upto 70% of homes to electricity by 2017.
I am not sure though about the total eradication of thatched houses in Rwanda (does that include thatched pubs and resorts as well? They are quite common even here in Nairobi, they are really classy.), in a country where an estimated 60% of the residents are living below poverty line.
Does the govt help purchase the alternative roofing materials which obviously their cost are beyond the reach of this pipo.
