Rupert Murdoch is running out of luck!!!

Rupert Murdoch is running out of luck!!!

AshaDii, thaks for your interesting perspective on the subject.
In fact I adore your sense of view, it gives one an interesting overview on the whiole subject at hand.

As for David Cameron. he is one fellow that is on the recieving end as far as the whole Rupert Murdoch scenario is concerned.
It has been said earlier that Rupert is a King Maker when it comes to politicians. Tony Blair , the former Bitish Prime Minister,as it is said , went to the extent of flying all the way to Australia , just to attend one of the lavish parties laid out by Murdoch. In esence that means politicians were queing, hat in hand to meet Murdoch, so that they can have contributions and endorsement from the media mogul and his companies.

Cameron did the same, and it is said the after becomibg the Prime Minister , Murdoch was one of the very first people for him to meet with.
Actually Cameron went s far as hiring some Murdoch staff to assist him in his day to day Government duties. Now that the heat is on, like I said before , Cameron would not be seen in public with Murdoch, the villain. In actual fact, Cameron has taken a tougher stance which will include a judicial inwuiry into the News of the World-Murdochs company.
It makes sense for David Cameron to take such action, in absence of which, he could find himself out of job.

As for Obama, Murdochs companies are on record of not having the best of working relationship with Murdochs Republican, right leanig news media companies.

AshaDii, my view of a humbled Obama administration by the Murdoch empire might be wrong but essentially it is on record that Murdoch and Obama are not the best of buddies.
In actual fact Murdoch pinned his hopes and aspirations on an eventual win of the American presidency on a Republican candidate, this is despite the reality on the ground.

Up to now Obama has yet to comment on the scandal, despite Democrat antipathy towards the Murdochs, who own the right-wing Fox News cable channel, the Wall Street Journal and the best-selling tabloid the New York Post.
Obama administration however will not restraint the FBI in uncovering the wrongs done by the media moguls companies.
Of course I understand tha fact that Murdoch is a resilient fellow and will probably at some atageturn the tide of negative events coming his way.
We all hope that by then , he might have learnt his lesson, but withMurdoch at 80 year old, there is very little for one to learn .
As the adage says , you cannot teach an old dog new tricks.

The blue i see we are in agreement with Cameron Shrewdness...I get now why you said humbled…
from what you have presented you mean as per your say “Humbled Obama administration” towards
the Mordoch empire (you will of course correct me if I am wrong…); Well still I back up that not humbled…
The situation left the administration at that for as you have pointed out Obama’s poor relation with the man...
But would not deliberately dare to entertain a fight whether cold or eruptive!

And about them commenting as much as there is evident hostility towards the Murdochs, it will be suicide
for the administration trying to comment earlier than necessary, it is common knowledge as much as
they are being prompt – they are being calculating and careful. Na I have observed Obama is the type
of Man who prefer commenting on pressing issues - when the whole business is finished – then he would give the results…

For such a powerful well respected man like Murdoch… It is without doubt that his closet if full of dirty and
skeletons which never must dare see the sun, It is just a matter of his intelligence in making sure it stays closed…
OR a matter of him cleaning out the Closet himself… either way he (Murdoch ) is in deep shit!

Any man in the world of the day before yesterday, the day of yesterday… the day of today and
tomorrow – For him to be powerful the hands has to catch a lot of filth, from blood, shit and sweat!
History has proven that… no matter how humble and sweet he seems… You cannot be powerful
without having an in-depth wrath… towards enemies or opponents… Lole G… kitendo cha mtu kufuatwa
na mtu kama Cameron - The Prime Minister of The United Kingdom... sio Mchezo! Usipime… Such power!

AshaDii I couldn't agree with you any less in RED.
And that is the esence of the whole scandal, we know Murdoch's accomplices hacked innocent citizens phones for want of sensitive and best selling news.
They went further than that, they hacke Gordons Browns phones for want of his health datae, and also they attempted to hack the Royal Family's phones.
All this was done with the Metropolitan Police acting as guardian angels
(corruption at its best).
That was in the UK. In the US as we know they hacked 9/11 victims phones.
No wonder as you say the closet is full, almost to the brim.
Now this closet is what every lawman would like to get at, I bet Murdoch is now working overtime in destroying all eveidence leading to him directly.
The FBI and Scotland Yard are now busy tring to get to the bottom of it all.
Mbaya zaidi kwa Cameron amekalia bomu.
Pamoja na kuwa na uhusianao wa karibu na Murdoch,Polisi wake wala rushwa inabidi wajichunguze.
Even Scotland Yard was very reluctant to take up this inquiry

As of today things are really rolling.
Rebekak Brooks, the CEO for Murdochs defunct News of the World has been arrested, presumably for corruption-
bribing and keeping in tow the Met Police Chief.
The Met Police Chief has been forced to resign-
nani kasema hakuna rushwa ulaya?(reminds me of the BAE saga)
The scandal is getting much more interesting by the day.

Kazi za Vigogo ndiyo hiyo.

In case you need any convincing that the U.K. phone-hacking mess has all the elements of some seedy soap opera or film noir, there's this: Sean Hoare, the former News of the World reporter who has repeatedly blown the whistle on some of the now-shuttered tabloid's past misdeeds, is dead.
"At 10.40am today [Monday 18 July] police were called to Langley Road, Watford, following the concerns for welfare of a man who lives at an address on the street. Upon police and ambulance arrival at a property, the body of a man was found. The man was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after," British police told The Guardian in a statement. "The death is currently being treated as unexplained, but not thought to be suspicious. Police investigations into this incident are ongoing."
It is perhaps worth noting that Hoare had a history of drug and alcohol problems. But the timing of his death is undeniably eerie--he had dished to the New York Times about alleged journalistic infractions at News of the World as recently as last week.
You can read more over at The Guardian.

Naona LulzSec wamehack website ya News of The World na The Sun na kupandikiza habari hii.

Murdoch, aged 80, has said to have ingested a large quantity of palladium before stumbling into his famous topiary garden late last night, passing out in the early hours of the morning.
"We found the chemicals sitting beside a kitchen table, recently cooked," one officer states. "From what we can gather, Murdoch melted and consumed large quantities of it before exiting into his garden."

This might be the beginning of the end, he's in their target now. The liberals would not let this opportunity slip on their watch. Fox news is their number one target. The've got him where they wanted him to be. If he did it in UK most likely he did it US.

Hahaha ahah! I have been watching fox nuwz lately and there's so little coverage on this issue!!!!!! Imagine if it would have been Ted Turner in similar scandals. I guarantee u, faux would never sleep and would immediately link it to BHO.

Aint gonna happen leave that job to Rachel Madow

It'd be aired like "damn America" Rev Jeremiah Wright footage

Uncle Rupert is very shaky and bang the table every other word

Most of you post we are in agreement… But would like to add that there was
no way Scotland yard would have been able kukwepa hicho kikombe! Murdoch
operates in Britain as well as US… thus their full participation inevitable… Murdoch
has always been closely linked with their Govt – to the extent nimewahi sikia
kwamba kuna a time ilileta walakini.

Hii story is going too fast for my taste for it a major Big Scandal… I feel for Rebeka…
Ndio… yeye ndio alikua CEO but ni wazi kua CEO wa mtu kama Murdoch if there is any
dirty work to be done… she would do it at minimal. To understand this.. I really wish I
knew why a few days before she had stepped down… And how is it btn her and Murdoch
sasa… is he empathic?? How has he reacted or is he too busy saving his arse…

Cameron naona ana upenyo kidogo... ingekua ni kipindi cha Blair?? yaani ingekua disastrous!! They were so close...

The Murdochs are smooth, fine tuned crooks!!
I have watched the Parliamentary hearing on Tv and it seems obvious they are saving their asses(James and Rupert).
They have categorically denied knowledge of any wrong doing in their company, News of the World.
In effect this puts Rebekah on the spot
I also agree with you that the buck will stop on Rebekahs table....She bribed the Police.
The Murdochs have consistently said they knew nothing about bribing the Police.
On the other hand Rebeka agreed to have known about it , then later recounts on having no knowledge about it.
She is on a spot.
Many people are on the spot, this includes the Prime Minister who hired a former News of the World employee who is also involved in the scandal.
The Police are at pains to explain their involvement with the News of the World. But it is apparent that they have been handsomely rewarded by the Newspaper for covering up for them.Rushwa at work here!
The story is getting tall
However I totally agree with you Asha, that Rupert and co. might just have a field day and get away with it now, as they have done numerous of times

Uncle Rupert is very shaky and bang the table every other word

I have also seen the perfomance on TV.
The guy Rupert acted with airs of a CEO, banged the table and at tmes looked down on some of the questioners.
That he denied everything, that he was attacked and was to be rescued ,sort of by his Chinese wife,Wendi, and that he relentlessly put up with the Parliamentary session-this has worked in Ruperts favour.
Story goes that in the US, this is turning out to be a non story.

Tayari hali isiyothibiti ya uaminifu kwa umma katika siasa za uingereza, biashara na vyombo vya habari imedhoofika zaidi

The Select committee episode somehow left Murdoch Snr of the hook, it appear that he was well drilled for the ocassion, anyway personally I never expected these MP's to handle the proper grilling of the Murdoch, they've nit-picked their questions so not to upset or distress the haggard man. Most of them are frightened of any repercussion from this ruthless geezer and his mob. ( whistle-blowers just swiftly put-down, a stark reminder of the person they are dealing with)
He just don't know or remember almost everything???????? Except may be squeezing into 10 Downing Street via back door.
Meanwhile James Murdoch is still stuck in, he has admitted that he authorised settlement of payments to Gordon Taylor, in that case he still have a case to answer in a courtroom.
Otherwise the bucks appear to stop at Rebekah, she will probably go down but will be well looked after and rewarded handsomely for her Loyalty, She's agreed to sacrifice herself and save her master's behinds - what a shame!
