AshaDii, thaks for your interesting perspective on the subject.
In fact I adore your sense of view, it gives one an interesting overview on the whiole subject at hand.
As for David Cameron. he is one fellow that is on the recieving end as far as the whole Rupert Murdoch scenario is concerned.
It has been said earlier that Rupert is a King Maker when it comes to politicians. Tony Blair , the former Bitish Prime Minister,as it is said , went to the extent of flying all the way to Australia , just to attend one of the lavish parties laid out by Murdoch. In esence that means politicians were queing, hat in hand to meet Murdoch, so that they can have contributions and endorsement from the media mogul and his companies.
Cameron did the same, and it is said the after becomibg the Prime Minister , Murdoch was one of the very first people for him to meet with.
Actually Cameron went s far as hiring some Murdoch staff to assist him in his day to day Government duties. Now that the heat is on, like I said before , Cameron would not be seen in public with Murdoch, the villain. In actual fact, Cameron has taken a tougher stance which will include a judicial inwuiry into the News of the World-Murdochs company.
It makes sense for David Cameron to take such action, in absence of which, he could find himself out of job.
As for Obama, Murdochs companies are on record of not having the best of working relationship with Murdochs Republican, right leanig news media companies.
AshaDii, my view of a humbled Obama administration by the Murdoch empire might be wrong but essentially it is on record that Murdoch and Obama are not the best of buddies.
In actual fact Murdoch pinned his hopes and aspirations on an eventual win of the American presidency on a Republican candidate, this is despite the reality on the ground.
Up to now Obama has yet to comment on the scandal, despite Democrat antipathy towards the Murdochs, who own the right-wing Fox News cable channel, the Wall Street Journal and the best-selling tabloid the New York Post.
Obama administration however will not restraint the FBI in uncovering the wrongs done by the media moguls companies.
Of course I understand tha fact that Murdoch is a resilient fellow and will probably at some atageturn the tide of negative events coming his way.
We all hope that by then , he might have learnt his lesson, but withMurdoch at 80 year old, there is very little for one to learn .
As the adage says , you cannot teach an old dog new tricks.
The blue i see we are in agreement with Cameron Shrewdness...I get now why you said humbled
from what you have presented you mean as per your say Humbled Obama administration towards
the Mordoch empire (you will of course correct me if I am wrong ); Well still I back up that not humbled
The situation left the administration at that for as you have pointed out Obamas poor relation with the man...
But would not deliberately dare to entertain a fight whether cold or eruptive!
And about them commenting as much as there is evident hostility towards the Murdochs, it will be suicide
for the administration trying to comment earlier than necessary, it is common knowledge as much as
they are being prompt they are being calculating and careful. Na I have observed Obama is the type
of Man who prefer commenting on pressing issues - when the whole business is finished then he would give the results
For such a powerful well respected man like Murdoch It is without doubt that his closet if full of dirty and
skeletons which never must dare see the sun, It is just a matter of his intelligence in making sure it stays closed
OR a matter of him cleaning out the Closet himself either way he (Murdoch ) is in deep shit!
Any man in the world of the day before yesterday, the day of yesterday the day of today and
tomorrow For him to be powerful the hands has to catch a lot of filth, from blood, shit and sweat!
History has proven that no matter how humble and sweet he seems You cannot be powerful
without having an in-depth wrath towards enemies or opponents Lole G kitendo cha mtu kufuatwa
na mtu kama Cameron - The Prime Minister of The United Kingdom... sio Mchezo! Usipime Such power!
