Rupert Murdoch is running out of luck!!!

Rupert Murdoch is running out of luck!!!

The Select committee episode somehow left Murdoch Snr of the hook, it appear that he was well drilled for the ocassion, anyway personally I never expected these MP's to handle the proper grilling of the Murdoch, they've nit-picked their questions so not to upset or distress the haggard man. Most of them are frightened of any repercussion from this ruthless geezer and his mob. ( whistle-blowers just swiftly put-down, a stark reminder of the person they are dealing with)
He just don't know or remember almost everything???????? Except may be squeezing into 10 Downing Street via back door.
Meanwhile James Murdoch is still stuck in, he has admitted that he authorised settlement of payments to Gordon Taylor, in that case he still have a case to answer in a courtroom.
Otherwise the bucks appear to stop at Rebekah, she will probably go down but will be well looked after and rewarded handsomely for her Loyalty, She's agreed to sacrifice herself and save her master's behinds - what a shame!

Kweli , tou are quite right.
The inquiry was theatrical at times and the show was in Murdoch snrs' favour.
He has nerves of steel.
Despite all the grilling he remembers nothing and was told nothing on the whole scandal-his lawyer must have coached him expertly.
But I dont know if he is entirely off the hook, given the fact that he fully supported Rebekah up to the hilt.He still said he is confident of her abilities.
Yet he knows NOTHING about all the scams, despite meeting Rebekah very often.
Rebekah meanwhile ison record for admitting on paying off Police officers.
Thats where the digging ought to be-a connection will be established here.
With Murdochs continued sneaks through the back door into No 10, this is bound to cause some embarrassment in high offices.

The Murdochs are smooth, fine tuned crooks!!
I have watched the Parliamentary hearing on Tv and it seems obvious they are saving their asses(James and Rupert).
They have categorically denied knowledge of any wrong doing in their company, News of the World.
In effect this puts Rebekah on the spot
I also agree with you that the buck will stop on Rebekahs table....She bribed the Police.
The Murdochs have consistently said they knew nothing about bribing the Police.
On the other hand Rebeka agreed to have known about it , then later recounts on having no knowledge about it.
She is on a spot.

What do you think Lole G... Does she really not have any carefully back up evidence
to bring down Mudorch... or she is just too scared too use it against him??
I would say being a CEO of such an Enterprise means that you are excellent!
Being the force behind the bribings of such big officials says something about
the person... it means calculated and pro-knowledge of how to side step...

ha ha ha.... I am a woman.... i think i understand, Yes What a shame but i do understand
(and yet surprisingly men still call use frail creatures - wonder were it comes from...)

But hata hivyo I don't believe that Rebekah is the only one card they have of bringing
the man down... And surprisingly enough there is too much media of how the scandal is
big and all; BUT ile handling ya Murdoch.... iffy.... Kweli kabisa the end result will give us answers...

Rebekah Brooks

AshaDii..
This whole game is promising to become a long running soap.
The prosecution Parliamentary committee is looking and prying for an opener, and they might have got it through poor Rebekah.
I feel sorry for the lady, it seems she might be sacrificed to save the Murdoch empire.
On the other hand I am sure some how by Murdochs grace, she just might get out of all this unscathed.
Too many feathers to ruffle(feathers go as far as No 10)

Lole G... In this case... she is holding the cards to her future! If she really
wants to be free regardless of the consequences... She will be.. i greatly
believe so... But if she wants to save the Enterprises and Murdoch's arses
then she is already fried.... That she could wiggle out of this unscathed without
showing support to Prosecution parliamentary Committee is unlikely..

It is crazy over there... and like i said before the Story is developing too fast
for my taste... nilisikia katika news kua Brooks ni mtu wa kumi kukamatwa in
connection with Police bribery and hio ya phone hacking ilosababisha kifo...
Imagine hapo wanataja mbili... tu... bado hawajafukunyua makosa mengine...
inachekesha waweza kuta interrogator nae at the end anahusishwa indirectly
with hard evidence bila hata yeye kujua....lol

Yeah Asha . I quite agree with your views on the woman.I only feel sorry for because she has got to make some tough decisions about her future address.
The scandal however is sdedding more light into some dark corners of Birtish politics.
The Prime Minister David Cameron is relly fidgety about the whole issue.
First , he hired a skeazy chap by the name od Andy Coulson, who turns out to involved in the News of the World phone hacking scandal.
If that was not enough, it has come to light as to the "back door" entrance used by Murdoch to see the PM Cameron.
It has been said that even Gordon Brown invited Mr Murdoch through the same door!!
Mr Murdochs power is only to be felt though his media empire, but close association with him in public seems to be a taboo.

Hebu angalia hii kitu... then tell me what you think na jinsi gani ita affect the whole issue....

Rupert Murdoch at Polis, LSE – New Event July 28th Charlie Beckett

OK, I lied in that headline. But at least I didn't listen in on your voicemail. It's not Rupert himself. Though I would be more than happy to give him or any member of his family or anyone from Newscorp a platform. Instead we have his biographer, Michael Wolff who wrote The Man Who Owns The News.

Michael spent a lot of time talking to Mr Murdoch and his circle for the book. I will be in discussion with Michael, but we will be keen to hear your views on the influence of Mr Murdoch and the future of his empire in the wake of the phone-hacking revelations. So join us next Thursday July 28th at 6.30pm. It's free but you have to get tickets and only ticket-holders will be told where it is! Tickets are available from next Tuesday – details here.
