The clock is ticking on Barcelona's impossible deals
Friday afternoon saw Barcelona throw their latest 125 million euro proposal towards Liverpool and star midfielder Coutinho, but it appears that the bid was far from straightforward.
The main guaranteed payment amounted to only 87m euros, leaving 38m euros still up for debate and dependant on how the Brazilian fared at the Camp Nou.
Daily Mirror report that the add-ons were only to be paid if Coutinho; won multiple competitions in a single season, won several Champions League titles, won the Ballon d'Or, and claimed a variety of other stipulated honours.

Furthermore, the basic 87m euro payment was to be divided into instalments over five years.
With this latest bid rejected, it is said that Liverpool have requested Barcelona cease their interest in Coutinho as they are determined to avoid his departure at this stage of the window.
