What a match from Nacho. He's been defensively exquisite. And props to Danilo there. Most players would never dare to attack that way when they get whistled whenever they touch the ball.

MATCH ANALYSIS:

Real Madrid 4-0 SD Eibar

Real Madrid rested most of the players from starting 11 today with just Pepe,Casemiro and Ronaldo starting from the team that had faced Wolfsburg n Barcelona last week.Real Madrid played high intensity counter attacking football from the start and got rewarded within the first 20 minutes by scoring 3 goals.All the goals except James' brilliant FK resulted from counter attacks.This was a much needed high scoring match without our usual starters to keep the morales high before the return leg against Wolfsburg in which Real Madrid needa to make sure that they score atleast 3 IF they don't concede any goal,otherwise it will get even tougher.But I think Real Madrid can score 4 if they concentrate and play like they usually do.

DEFENSE:

Carvajal,Pepe,Nacho and Arbeloa started for Real Madrid at the back and Nacho was a rock at the back.He is such a cool headed defender,always there to get the blocks and tackles in and sweep in for Pepe.Pepe had a good game too but I have noticed Pepe and Ramos slip way too many times recently and that is concerning me,I don't know what's the reason but they should stop doing it.Carvajal was very good just like he always is and Arbeloa did a fine job while deputizing for Marcelo.

MIDFIELD:

A James, Casemiro and Isco trio in the midfield did the job for us.Casemiro brought a touch of steel in the midfield for Real Madrid with both James and Isco starting alongside him and all three of them did a fine job.Casemiro was the most effective amongst the trio as James couldn't do much apart from scoring a brilliant FK.James was good,created chances too but he had set up a very high standard for himself last season so everyone expects him to perform like the BBC.Isco was having an off day,he was slowing the plays down but he played his part in a goal too.

ATTACK:

Cristiano,Jese and Vasquez started upfront for Real Madrid and all three of them scored goals with Cristiano scoring one and assisting his other two partners.Jese assisted Ronaldo for his goal.The speed of our forwards on the break was pivotal in scoring these goals and that paired with the craft of Modric and Kroos will be crucial in winning the tie against Wolfsburg and going through to the Semifinals of UCL.Let's hope for the best for Tuesday Night.

TBH we can not blame anyone but Rafa and the players for bottling the league.

Imagine if we would've won against Newly promoted sides like Betis and Gijon away from home and that Malaga game at home too?

Barakaldo 0 - 1 Real Madrid Castilla

Huge win for Real Madrid tonight in a tight contested away game against top of the table Barakaldo.

Thankfully Mariano continued his goal scoring streak with a very important 84th minute winner near the end.

Castilla are still 2nd in Segunda B, but now remain only 3 points behind league leaders Barakaldo.
