Rumour:

Juventus are planning to pay Real Madrid the surplus they'd make by an Alvaro Morata resale, thus keeping the striker.

The Merengues sold the Spaniard to the Bianconeri in 2014, but have a right to buy him back at €30m.

Morata's development as a footballer in the last 2 years has pushed his value to well over €30m, to the point that Real Madrid are planning to buy him at that price and sell him immediately for a higher sum. The potential buyers are expected to be Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool.

According to Italian sources, Juve's strategy to keep the 23-year-old involves addressing the surplus that Real Madrid expect to make from a Morata resale.

If they can reach an agreement with the Spanish club over the profit that they expect to make by selling Morata to a Premier League team, Juventus will pay that sum themselves and simply keep the striker, making both parties happy. [Source TuttoMercato]
